I went to buy a new lawnmower, blower and weed eater. I was dreading going in because the big box stores typically don't have people with a great deal of knowledge about the products they sell. Fortunately Ben and another fellow who both work for Ryobi were there and were a tremendous help. I had to get my package delivered, their half assed system gives you a delivery window of 6am to 8pm. And they do not call to say they are on the way. Fortunately my office is ten minutes away so when the driver did show up and called me I was able to get there before they drove off and had to reschedule.

At the self checkout, when an employee has to take time to ensure you have actually paid for each item after you have properly scanned and paid for each item, suggest Home Depot just remove the self checkout kiosks and go back to the standard check out.

We reached out regarding plantation shutters. Dwight Roussert was in touch with us the next day about a consultation. He was at our house the exact day and time he said he would. So happy with his professionalism and promptness.

Surely store number #1118 is in WEST Charleston, not EAST Charleston....?

Jim C helped me find what I needed, and explained how to use it (I didn't know that door frames have little grooves for the weatherstripping!). He even discussed the best color to use for my red door. It was a fun, educational, and productive trip.

It's refreshing to walk in a store and without my asking is approached by a store employee to give assistance, helping me to locate an item I needed to purchase. Home Depot, East Charleston, SC, YOUR employees ROCK!

I went in to the HD East Charleston to buy plants. Everyone in the garden center was helpful to me as I have very little understanding of plants and flowers. I am thrilled with my purchases. The plants and flowers are so beautiful and healthy. I can tell that everyone that works in the Garden center cares about the live plants and flowers.

This experience was very positive. I found the prices competitive, good choice of in-stock products and employees at the Magwood Road, Charleston, SC location were very helpful and customer service oriented.

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. There appeared to be enough staff in place to help customers on the floor as well as at checkout. My experience was not at all like the commercials showing “big box” stores where there is no help to be found.

Waited two and a half hours to rent a truck because the employee assisting me was clueless. Called the manager for help and he completely ignored the situation. Was charged for the truck at 8:45 a.m., but didn’t get the keys until 10:30. Made us late for a job, lost us money. Patrick was lovely and professional. The first manager I spoke with (possibly Will), and the cashier that wasted 150 minutes of my morning, are horrendous.

The best home store in Charleston!

First off our salesperson was great! We bought a washing machine on Monday May 2nd to be delivered on Saturday the 7th between 11:30 and 3:30. I received a text from The delivery company CRST at 3:30 saying That they were running late and a call at 4:30 telling me that the best they could do was leave it outside or reschedule for Wednesday the 11th. Today, Monday the 9th the manager at the West Ashley Home Depot said that the trucking company told them that we were not here during our delivery window and that they could deliver on Monday the 16th. I have never experienced customer service this poor and opine that purchasing anything that needs delivery is a huge mistake and on principle we will not be shopping at Home Depot again.

Just finished remodeling my kitchen with all needed items from cabinets to appliances bought from Home Depot. Only problem is the exceedingly long wait on hold when trying to reach an associate.

David S., the Master Plumber working in the HD Plumbing department is the most helpful, respectful and humble associate I have ever met. He treats everyone with deep respect. During my particular interaction, he solved a major challenge and deflected any praise. Do not go anywhere else, Plumbing needs are met at Home Depot as long as David S. works there!

Today I found everything I wanted. I went to the self-checkout and was pleased to find an attendant waiting and no line. The attendant had gone the extra mile to set an open bag on the checkout scale to make chakout just a little bit easier. Thank you, Home Depot, Ihad a pleasant shopping experience today.

Shopped here today and was quickly greeted and taken to exactly what I was looking for. They wanted to make sure I got everything I needed and made helpful suggestions for my project

Each time I have been in HOME DEPOT recently, there are plenty of employees to handle all of our needs. Everyone is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The storre is clean and mostly well stocked. The plants are beautiful with a wide selection.

I have what most people would call an obsession with plants. I call it a harmless overabundance of enthusiasm for plants. Either way this particular Home Depot, has THE best plant selection ever! It changes often and is such a diverse collection! From cacti and other succulents to more exotic plants...I can feed my need for greenery and its so quality! Also, the employees are a delight! Thank you!!

I am so pleased with Home Depot. This was the only store that had a large quantity of Christmas items.

Recent check out experience via the self checkout did not take the coupon, it appeared to, but upon review of the receipt it did not. The only way the store would rectify was to go to customer service, return and re-ring all the items that my family was already carrying to the car. Store manager was no help either. I am a credit card holder for more than 20 years and frankly the idea that consumers are having to self checkout while employees stand around is just terrible. And to resolve by doing something they should have done the first time is such a waste of resources and my time. Likely to never shop here again. Likely to cancel my credit line as well.

Tried to check out at about 9:30 Saturday morning garden center was active, but not crowded; only 1 cashier working. One person in front of me had 6 or 8 typical items. Cashier took more than TEN minutes to check-out this customer; the customer apologized & acknowledged the extremely long & annoying wait. The cashier had convinced the customer to apply for a credit card while eight other customers waited in line. The cashier was rude when I approached & asked about the unnecessary & long wait!

The store was neat and orderly. My item was exactly where it was supposed to be. The staff was very friendly and willing to help!
