I love Home Depot but hate the experience I had yesterday. As a Pro Reward industry member for 20 years, we spend a very large amount with Home Depot annually. 99% of the time, my experience is fluid. Buy, Pay, Leave. While doing a 5PM run for 15 Gallons of paint for the staff for next day, the new cashier Edna didn't know how to apply the $20 Pro Reward digital coupon. "Mia" the filipina manager then approach and started yelling that "from now on" Home Depot requires Pro Reward incentives to be on paper. Pro Reward incentive are offered via email and stored in the Apple wallet. There is no paper printout. When I tried to explain, she walked away and I heard some swear words in Tagalog (Philippine language). When I asked her for her name and why she just walked away, she said "she was busy". Her yelling in front of new staff, a significant crowd of customer and my spouse is flat out unacceptable. Mia, you should be expelled from the Home Depot family or at least relegated out of the Front End customer experience.

This store is always helpful, especially Ray from the Pro Services department. I won't shop elsewhere if I can shop here.

The store was clean and the employees were very helpful . We found the items we needed very quickly and my mother said the gentleman Marty was a handsome guy and he was very smiling. My family and I always shop here and our experience was amazing the few days that we were at this home depot. We want to thank home depot and the amazing work the employees do.

The HD here is so convenient for me since its only 15 minutes away from my home. I come here to buy, return and just look around to take a look around. The only thing I don't like is every time I come there the down escalator or the up escalator is out of order. Good thing there an elevator. They have good selection but not as good as the HD pro. They don't cut wood for you there either. If you can handle the elevator ride and not needing to cut wood then your good at this HD.

Large aisle signage and the two-story layout make getting around this store very efficient. It's a tight, urban store, but it always has what I need. I'm a professional handyman, and this is my go-to from the Sunset south. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Cashiers are friendly and efficient.

Marty is the man! Stoked about my new washer, quick delivery time, and his knowledge on what I should get. When my dryer needs replacing, I’ll be going to him for what to get!

Store’s clean and well organized. Easy to find what we’re looking for.

Worse customer service. Delivered grill unassembled. Called them and they argued with me even though I have receipt printed by Home Depot that clearly states “assemble and delivery.” They finally agree to send assembled grill and the ignition is broke. I have tried calling them for 2 days now and no one will answer.

Pro services here have been EXTREMELY useful

Usually easy to shop for general home improvement.

I came back for a 2nd try to pick out wire rack shelving. I needed to return some pieces from a previous visit during the week. I was going to throw in the towel when I ran into Gabriel working the storage area. What a treat! He helped me calculate the maximum number of shelves and brackets needed for my closet and then cut 5 to size since the store was out of the size I needed. What a credit to the store! This Home Depot is not like some of the others. From Alma at checkout to the guy offering to return my dolly in the parking lot, the staff were friendly and helpful all the way!

The just completed a survey and I marked that I probably would not return to the Daly City store. I only marked that because I live in Sonoma and happened to be heading home, so it was convenient for me to stop at the Daly City store. I already wrote that Andrew, the associate who helped me, and Janet, manager of customer service, were terrific. They truly personified what customer service is all about.

The store was going through a bit of reorganization, however that didn't stop the employees from being friendly, helpful, and all around wonderful.

The store is organize and the employee are kind and helpful.

Good customer service. Place is clean and well stocked. Convenient location, closed to bank, restaurants, grocery stores. Highly recommend.

Daly City Store is a good spot for general-purpose construction. It carries most of the common stuff one needs for home improvements. However, since it is within reasonable distance of two other Home Depot stores in Colma, I generally go to those two stores to find items for my specific needs.

I had an exceptional experience at the store today. I was shopping for several different items in several different departments and every associate that I encountered was very helpful, friendly, and made my experience absolutely great. I recommend the store completely for anyone, if you know what you’re doing or not.

Needed to return an item and exchange it for a larger size. The return and check out with the larger size took 5 minutes tops! One minute wait for the return and no wait for check out. A personal record!

Nice, very organized & staffs are very accommodating

Watch out the Customer service supervisor I have went to so many home depot and got great service for all of them. The Daly City Home depot is the worse that I have ever experienced. I went to this store to buy some screws. it costed about 2 dollars. When I got home, I found out these screws do not fit. I went back to the store right away. When I got there I realized that I forgot to bring my wallet but I do have my receipt with me in my jacket. I spoke to return customer service supervisor Janet about my situation. She told me that she will need my driver license to return my items. (this is something new to me). She states that this is company policy because when she returns these items, the computer will ask her for my driver license. She told me that it is not her fault that she can not return these items. I even asked for store credits (I bought these screws with my credit card). she told me there is nothing she can do. I drove another 25 minutes back home to get my wallet. Another 25 minutes back to the store. This time, another associate helped me and just returned my items but without asking me for my license. She refunded my item back to my credit card without asking for any ID. I was puzzled. I asked her why she did not ask for my driver license. She has this puzzled look on her face. She told me that driver license is not needed. I demand to speak to supervisor. It turns out Janet is the supervisor. I asked her why she did what she did. She lied through her teeth stating that I did not show her receipt. I was furious. Then the store manager came out and found out what happened. She apologized to me and promised me that that she will look into this case. I am in customer service business. We all know that things can be done by helping our customers in good faith. For 2 dollars screws. Janet did not want to help and wasted 2 hours of my time (it was back and forth driving). I really do not think she should be in the position of customer service at all. Shocking that she is actually a customer service supervisor.

I would give this store zero for customer service because it doesn’t exist.

The store is conveniently located in Westlake shopping center, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable my experience with Jackie (Manager) she was most accommodating with an issue that came up during my last visit and I was as always very satisfied. I would highly recommend this store. Thank you!

A wonderful woman by the name of “Kadigah” provided excellent assistance to help to ensure we were helped to choose the correct Dyson vacuum make and model. Kadigah went out of her way to climb a ladder to reach the very top shelf to help identify the correct model. Although the model was unavoidable, she found a great replacement! Additionally, the Dyson was mis marked as the price was not updated. She assisted us personally to ensure we were able to get the lower cost with permission.

The store is clean and workers are nice.
