This is by far the worst Home depot in the Bay Area if you need any sort of assistance or specialty services. Dont waste your time with this store drive to the Colma store instead. Daly City has the worst customer service and Good luck getting anyone to pick up the phone. It will ring non stop.

I was able to find what I needed very quickly because an employee named Bill helped me

Angela from Flooring and Bill from Electrical are truly the best employees! They had spent a ton of effort, helping me search for what I needed. Both had gone above and beyond, Katie, the supervisor, was a great help as well. This is my go-to store as Angela, Bill, and Katie had given me the best support I've ever received at a Home Depot.

I love shopping for my home needs at your store. I have noticed that prices of items just keep going up. Are we paying extra due to the employees you hire? Some just seem to be looking busy. Thank you anyway for providing jobs.

I’ve been to this particular Home Depot 4 times with my grandma and each time I go in, I’m always amazed to see Tim the employee. Tim is always there to answer any questions I have and is very kind and generous towards what people are looking to buy. Tim is great

If you ever need help with finding a product at this location, Socrates is the one to ask for. His kind and selfless demeanor made my shopping experience a pleasant one. He will try his best to help find what you need. He even provided me with a list of surrounding stores who had my item in stock and the isles and bin numbers to find it. That is priceless. You would hate to go to another store to be lost and not know where to find the same product you were just looking for. Two thumbs up for Socrates!!!

I enjoy shopping at this store so much more than the Colma store because the inventory is organized especially in the blinds area. Sizes were much easier to find. Just disappointed that the returns clerk was unfriendly and lacked any customer service skills. Is this person understaffed? Whatever it is, it's not very inviting when the clerk can't attempt to greet or thank the customer.

Been there about 5 or 6 times and you can never find someone who can tell you where to find what you need..when you find them they are rude and don't even know where you find it .

I am one of those persons who suffer anxiety shopping in hardware stores since I get overwhelmed with so much stuff and the commute from San Francisco to Daily City. In this particular situation, where I’ve found myself overwhelmed trying to buy an accordion door, the cashier not even helped me with the measures but also with my orders of paint and other supplies I needed. She never said: sorry I’m the cashier go to ask one of the customer assistants. She moved aside to help me and give me steps where to find everything I needed. Thanks so much Angelica for being so kind and sweet. You made this stressful (for me, someone who suffer panic attacks and anxiety inside hardware stores) very smooth and easy.

I like the warm shopping atmosphere

This is a great store in general and Gina at the customer service desk is just outstanding!!! She went above and beyond, is knowledgeable, professional, kind and motivated to do the very best job she could possibly do. Thank you Gina!

This HD is full of home enthusiasts not full on contractors so it feels more friendly than commercial. Lots of home accessories for every project. I don't know how I would maintain my home, backyard, car and tool needs without it. Even online shopping is not as easy as going to a Home Depot Store. When you need it now, you gotta go to the Home Depot. And prices here have been very competitive lately, so it's a win-win.

Mr. Pao surpassed excellent customer service and created customer delight while in charge of the Christmas tree sales. He quickly & effectively checked the garden shop & lot inventory for 9'-10' trees. He showed me 4 trees and made sure I got what I wanted. He found another employee to help him pull the monster tree through the auto red net tree wrapper. In and out stress-free with a smile in record time. Mr. Pao's character & competence excellently represent Home Depot. I have baseline skills when it comes to home improvement so I need help in this enormous stores, even after using the internet for guidance. Plus the assortment is so large that it is hard to find what you need. The staff at this location are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It's not your personal handyman-advisor type of service but that is not what Home Depot is for. I tend to go at night because parking can be very difficult at this location. And they have a garden shop!

Three employees helped me with packing a rug and that's not even part of their job description. Thank you so so much!!

I LEFT EXTREMELY ANGRY WITH THEIR ATTITUDE TO MY NEEDS FOR MAKING A PURCHASE.

Went to look at a refrigerator and was rudely greeted by a sales associate at the Colma store. I was ready to buy, but because of his rudeness, I left and went to the Westlake location in which I was greeted by a very kind lady who helped me purchase and set up delivery for my item.

I always shop at Home Depot for home appliances and supplies and just purchased an LG clothes washer, LG dryer and GE gas range. Everything went smoothly including the excellent sale prices, friendly, informative and patient sales advice, and seamless delivery and installation. I love the friendly, helpful service that I consistently receive every time I shop at Home Depot including this recent visit. Thank you Marty in appliances and manager Nico at Westlake Home Depot!

We worked with Fran at the Daly City Home Depot to pick out our window treatments. Over hours of time (and with bottomless patience), she helped us navigate our options. When the specific blinds weren't in stock, she provided near-weekly updates. She was fantastic and really did make the difference as we were considering our options. We could not recommend her enough!

Bought a couple of deadbolts expecting them to be keyed the same, but wasn't. Had to come into the store to get them rekeyed. Moty got me rekeyed in minutes all while discussing the lockpickinglawyer.

HD needs to clarify price matching, when 1 HD sells at a lower price, and other HD not willing to match.

Ian in electrical was very friendly and knowledgeable
