Young employees don't want to help customers. I don't need an eyeroll when I want help. I don't want a young man telling me it's only 10 pounds so I can get it myself and put it in my cart myself - it was a fire pit and big and bulky. Put it in my SUV??!!! God no!!! Today, I won't recommend this store. Usually, although it's difficult to find someone to help, they are helpful when finally located. Don't ask a young man to get up off the chair by the entrance and walk 20 feet to pick up a fire pit and put it in your cart. You'll get attitude. Bad parenting! My kids know not to treat any adult with a disrespectful attitude. That's certainly not a good attitude in retail. Any other day, I would have given a little higher rating. Never excellent because it's always hard to find someone to help.

Went to Home Depot today, purchased the refrigerator i had previously viewed on-line, on sale. Jack helped with the on-line order, delivery, haul away, and also applied my 10% discount. All in much less than one hour!

Needed corrugated drainage pipe to divert water from downspout so ordered online. I overestimated how much I would need so associate Henry helped me find couplers to fit my downspouts and accommodate a smaller diameter pipe. He went above and beyond to help. What I got will work better than my original plan and is more cost effective! He and all the associates were so friendly and patient. Store was clean and organized and I appreciate requirement to wear masks for everyone's safety.

Great store with unbelievable employees...They actually seem to enjoy their job and want to help. Very helpful and knowledgable. This visit, in particular, was great. Special kudos to Nate along with Jim from plumbing.

Just knowing that every time I visit we always get excellent customer service. The employees are very knowledgeable and always take us to the aisle to find what we are looking for.

This is the only home improvement store I will shop at in CB. Customers get to decide if they want to wear masks or not and that's big for me! I have always had great experiences here. I highly recommend this store

THE COUNCIL BLUFFS STORE HAS EMPLOYEES THAT WILL HELP YOU, EXPLAIN THINGS AND GO THE EXTRA DISTANCE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CORRECT. THEY ARE PATIENT AND WANT TO HELP YOU WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. THEY PROVIDE EXTRA CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I was looking for a plastic 5 shelf storage unit and there was only one left in stock. The employee, Alex, who was helping me saw that it wasn't in it original package and a little scuffed. She said she could take a little off the price if I still wanted it. It was a pleasant surprise!

The store had everything we needed and we were in contact with 4 different members of your staff and they could not have been any nicer or helpful to us. We could tell that the employees wanted to be of help and that they enjoyed working at Home Depot.

Needed 10 bags of 40 lb top soil. Not only did Dylan in lawn and garden load them on my cart, he offered to load them in my car trunk. Great service Dylan, keep up the great work and customer service!!

Of all the great things about Home Depot, their service, the selection and the brand names they sell, the best thing about Home Depot is their owner. Love that guy!!!

Employees really should be required to wear face masks during this period, and management should enforce their social distancing.

I live about 75 miles from Council Bluffs Home Depot, so I generally shop for small stuff locally. When I have something more "complicated" or something I can't find locally, I do like Home Depot as my best choice when going out of town. They have SO MUCH product inventory, lots of choices, and they most likely have what I am looking for. Every time I've been there for something, I get the BEST treatment from the staff--they are friendly, will stop what they are doing (stocking shelves, etc) and direct me to where I need to be. Sometimes they escort me there. If I have a question, I always get an answer; the "expert" in some areas are called in if needed. Staff cooperates with each other, making it very helpful to me.
