Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Yes, the Council Bluffs store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to check the availability of the kits.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?

Gift cards to The Home Depot are an excellent choice for the holidays, housewarming parties, and birthdays. DIYers know they're fun to receive and to give. You can buy gift cards online at homedepot.com or in our stores. If you're a recipient, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Redeem our gift cards in-store or use them to shop online with no additional fees.

Does The Home Depot Council Bluffs offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. using The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items. We will let you know via text message or email when your order is ready at the store. Bring your valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

To pick up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" email or text message to tell us you're on the way via the app.
3. After you arrive, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space. It's usually located near the front of the store.
4. Check in through the app to tell us you've arrived.
5. Wait for us to bring out your order and load it into your vehicle.
