[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cook top has great adjustment control. My biggest complaint is that it takes twice as long as my old cook top to heat a pan of water and does not get hot enough to fry large lots of meat.

I think the grill is either too tall or too massive and carries the heat away from the pot or pan.Stove works great for using very low heat. Good for omelets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the cook top about a month. There is not enough flames coming from the burners. It takes a long time to boil water even with a large pan.There are no hinges for cleaning the grates as per the owners manual. Cleaning is difficult because the grates have to be picked up, and removed and the grates are HEAVY.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how evenly this Stove cooks food but it's hard to have more than one pot or pan on the cooktop at the same time. Makes it difficult to cook multiple items. Again, just another average product, nothing special.

Worst. Cooktop. Ever. There is a 2 inch space between the top of the burner and the top of the grate meaning that the flame hardly touches the bottom of the pot. We previously had an 18 yr old Whirlpool gas cooktop and unfortunately replaced it with this one. The old one still worked fine but the surface had taken a beating after 18 yrs. We devised and ran a test which proved that it took 36% longer to get 2 cups of water to boil on this new cooktop as it had taken on the old one. Amazingly inefficient as far as time and fuel. The large grates also move around much too easily instead of sitting in one place. This cooktop seems to be made of good materials, but the design is just awful. Don't buy it.

Cast iron grate is too high above gas burner, wasting heat and takes long time to cook. What is corrective action?

Works good. The actual burner assembly is on the cheap side. Care should be taken as to not damage the igniter during assembly disassembly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Poor design for cooking, when installed with a overhead microwave there isn't enough room to use the back burners without constantly hitting the bottom of the fan. Should have had a least one of the large burners in the front of the stovetop.
