    Miracle worker
I am so happy to report that Trewax works!! I used the full strength, lots of paper towels, a paint spackler from home Depot, Dawn dishwashing soap, a mop, and a pillow for your knees, use the spackler very gentle to scrap the wax up, it comes up very easy, its a lot of work, all worth it. I suggest that you do small sections, do not use on unsealed wood floors, it works great on Bruce presealed floors with the protective coating already on the wood, PLEASE read direction.

        Amazing product
I have tried everything to remove the old wax buildup on my laminate floors. Nothing removed it. Using a mix of 1:1 water and Trewax Instant stripper with a Clorox brand long handle non-abrasive scouring bad has brought it back to life! Followed by a mop with fresh water, that needs often changing. It's an amazing product.

          Great Product
Work very very well on stripping the wax off our Bruce hard wood floor with out harming the pre seal. We had an incredible wax build up on our wood floors. Our floors were very dull. This product says not to use on wood but the reviews said it work great on wood so we took a chance. The floors are bright and shiny. We will never use wax on them again. I will only use a cleaner on them when needed. It was a lot of work. I highly recommend a wet vac. I also used a wide spackle knife to scrap the wax off. I used full strength on the floor. A spray bottle does the trick.

Don't use on sanded polyurethane hardwood floors!
Don't use on sanded polyurethane coated hardwood floors.....you will strip the floors to beneath the color layer with this product. Do yourself a favor and call a hardwood floor company that cleans floors.

          Simple Amazing!!!
It save us $1000 's if dollars , we thought we had to professionally sanded , etc , We recommend to buy a Two sided scraper to scrape the wax with a long handle to be easy on your back ( Amazon) use the dull side . Just scrape beeing specially careful with the edges , so you don't scratch to bare wood . Pile the stripped wax on the side then throw away . Another reviewer said to use a shop vac , but it doesn't work because the old wAx is soooo sticky that will clog the shop vac. Just by hand and trow it away. After you striped the wax , use windex and Lots of paper towel to wipe off left over sticky wax. Even after this last step you will have a very , very thin wax layer ( I know !!! Is s lot of work !!!.... But is worth it !!!!$$$$$ Any left over thin layer of wax , scrape it with a "utility blade scraper " very , very gently off . Take your time , and you will love your floors again !!

Wax Buildup is too much !!!
We have a wax build up on our hardwood floors. This product or any product I've tried even makes a dent in it. It will soften the wax but then you have to put a lot of muscle behind it to scrape the floors. B.

I know it has been a couple of months and I am sorry for not responding sooner. Sometimes if the build up is multiple layers and is hard to get up you can make the product stronger by adding more product to less water. That should take out having to use elbow grease of the equation. If you have a minute to give us a call we would like to further discuss this with you. You can call us at Beaumont Products, Inc. 800-451-7096 or email us at customerservice@beaumontproducts.com.

            Great product
The product worked as it stated it would. The old wax on my floors dissolved in approximately 5 minutes with very little scrubbing. It wipes up easily also.

            Works well.
I first followed the instructions, but, was not happy with the outcome. I then mixed it 1 to 1 in a spray bottle, got down on my hands and knees, sprayed an area about 2" x 3', used a hand scrub brush to scrub the area and immediately rinsed it. Had to change the rinse water after 3-sections. Got down to the "bare floor" then put two coats of "Mop and Glow" on the floor. Came out as brand new.

              Amazing
After years of using Mop & Shine products on my floors, there was so much buildup left behind. This product was AMAZING. So far I've used it on both vinyl and wood laminate. It takes some time, but well worth the results. My floors look brand new. After removing the old wax buildup and cleaning the floors thoroughly, I used Trewax Gold Seal Wax to finish.

                Best Wax Remover ever
Trewax is the best wax remover. I had a 20 year wax buildup on my kitchen tile floor. I poured it on, waited 3 to 5 minutes, used a buffer/scrubber and mopped it up;changed the mop water often. Every bit of wax came up.

                Best Purchase Ever
Purchased this product to remove Bona Polish from my hardwoods. After using Bona for 3 years there was a yuck build up along the edges and a haze over the top of my hardwoods. After much research I came across the feedback on TreWax and decided to try it for myself. Although time consuming, completely worth it and you see instant results. Someone also recommend a Hoover Floor Mate, that helped tremendously. Highly recommend this product.

Product works quickly. Some areas required multiple application
This was used to take of many years of wax. I found that there are areas that I still have to go back to get all the wax off of, before sealing and waxing again. I found that some areas need a stiffer brush for removal, and that a soft sponge and regular mop was not enough. Especially near walls and cabinets. Those areas are going to need more work. Need to get it done soon. Don't want to wax and seal but don't want stripped surface to get dirty before sealing.

                wax on hardwood
I read all the great reviews about removing old wax from hardwood floors, so I tried it. This is an amazing product and I cannot say enough good things about how wonderful my floors are starting to look! It's very labor intensive, but well worth it.

                  saved my hardwood floors
I read many reviews to help with my task that were very helpful so here is mine. I made the common mistake of applying Bono polish to my new hard wood floor. I applied the polish once every 3 weeks or so for 3 - 4 years. At the end the floor had so much polish that it just looked terrible and no amount of polish was going to bring it back. I had "professionals" look at the floor and everyone said sand down to bare wood, stain, and re-polyurethane. After reading many reviews on many different sites I came across someone who mentioned this product and their success with striping polish off of their hardwood floors. I stripped about 700 sq ft. It took 4 gallons thinned 50/50 with water. I used a 2 gallon pump up sprayer, sprayed a 3' x 4' section and went over it 3 times. First application I waited 8 min and then used a 6" plastic drywall knife to scrape the polish off the floor and dispose of in a trash can. The second and third application I used a Hoover Floormate (a lifesaver on the knees), I would let it sit for around 5 - 6 min and then go over with the Floormate making sure that I rinsed thoroughly with the Floormate the last time to get all of the wax remover. Even after 3 times I would sometimes have to go back and spot remove. Yes it was a lot of work & took time, the Floormate was the best purchase I ever made (around $140 on Amazon) but our hardwood floors look brand new. My wife and I still walk around and say how amazed we are that the floor looks this good. For my application this product saved me around $2500 - $3000 and my floors look like we just move in!

                  AWESOME PRODUCT
This stuff is amazing. I purchased this after trying several ways found on the internet for removing built up wax. I made the mjstake of using Minwax Hardwood|Floor restorer on my laminate floors. It was a big mess. After trying to steam and scrape off the wax I searched for a wax remover on the internet and found this product with many good reviews so I hunted it down and found it at the local Homehardware store as our Homedepot didn't have any in stock Following direction I was amazed at how easily the wax was literally melting as I scrubbed the floor lightly with a scouring brush. It took an hour or so to do 150 square foot area. Very impressed. My story doesn't end here.....it gets better. We were doing our spring cleaning getting the house ready to put on the market. As we were cleaning our kitchen cupboards I found years of greasy build up on the top of the cupboards. At first we tried wiping it off with your everyday household cleaners with little success. Mr. Clean sponges seemed to do the trick but they would get eaten up in no time at all. After some work and very little success I thought I would try some of the leftover Trewax Instant Wax Remover. I couldn't believe my eyes.....It literally dissolved the build up in seconds and wiped right off. We always wiped off any residue with clean hot water. This product rates right up there with WD40 in my eyes. Many, many uses....just use your imagination.....TWO THUMBS UP here.

With very little effort, I got old wax off of my vinyl floor that I have been working on for over a year. Even had trouble scraping it off with a knife! With a couple wipes of Trewax- it is gone!

                    Great Product
Like many others, I had used wax and polishing products over the years that led to a massive wax buildup on our hardwood floors. Our floors were to the point of where we thought we had to pay a professional to refinish the floors. I had tried several other products to remove the buildup with no success at all. After reading the reviews online for the Trewax Instant Wax Remover, I decided to give it a shot as a last ditch effort to not have to refinish the floors. I was very pleasantly surprised as to how well the prduct worked. I applied the wax remover with a 1 gallon pump spray container, and allowed the chemical to sit on the floor for 5-7 minutes depending on how thick the wax was on the floor. If the wax doesn't wipe off easily, let it stand for a few more minutes to dissolve the wax. About half way through cleaning my floors, I was tired of being on my knees so I decided to try something else. I sprayed the wax remover on the floor again with the pump spayer, and after 5-7 minutes, I used my Hoover Floor Mate to scrub off the wax instead of wiping it off by hand. It worked great. The Hoover Floor Mate scrubbed the wax from the floor and I was able to just push all of the wax into a pile and remove it with a paper towel to throw away in the trash. The wax did not get gummed up in the brushes at all. The nice thing about using the Hoover Floor Mate was that after I stripped the wax, I came right behind it with some water to make sure I was getting all of the wax stripper off of the floor. Using the Hoover Floor Mate was definitely easier, faster, and it saved my knees. The end result was that our floors looked like new again, and I saved $4,000 in refinishing cost.
