Works great no hard labor needed

Wanted it for wood floors. Can not be used on wood.

Got it to remove wax off wood floor ... then got it and it said NOT to use on wood floors ... grrrrrr :(

Great product to remove wax build-up on laminate floors. It still took a lot of scraping with a plastic scraper to remove the wax and a few days work. I did an area over 1200 square feet, it looks like new and I will never use any type of cleaner with wax in it again.

I was very skeptical about using this as I started out by using the straight ammonia and I guess I am lucky to be alive from all the harsh fumes. then I went on line saw this product and thought what the heck lets try it. I can't say it was awesome to use because this is the most horrible job to take on BUT it worked perfect!!!. after doing like 1/3 of the floor I got it down to a science and it went pretty quick from there on. the best advice I have is do a small area at a time not a large one because you will really have a mess. if you do a small patch let it sit comes right off rinse it right away and go on to the next little square. I don't think I will ever ever put any kind of wax on my floor again. thanks for having this product and I would give it 10 stars. make sure you have a large bucket of clean water and lots of rags. I tried using the mop but that just was not for me. more work to keep rinsing the mop out use a rag dip it in the water to rinse off the gook and keep going.

Worked better than expected. Had tried other products that didn't do the job, this one did.

Trewax instant wax removal really made it easy to remove wax.

Used it on my hardwood floors. 10-15 years of wax and dirt build up. Labor intensive, on hands and knees with scraper, but the product works. Floors look great!!!

Trewax Instant Wax Remover does exactly that. I diluted the product into a 50% solution, placed in a spray bottle and applied it to a 3 x 5 tile area. After waiting 6 minutes, I removed the wax with a stiff bristle brush and water, then sponged it up old wax. Repeated twice to remove 12+ years of buildup. Lots of hands and knees work, but the floors came out great!

Easy to use and did an awesome job on my solid vinyl Armstrong flooring in my kitchen, thanks to this wonderful product. Mixed product 5 water to 1 remover. Smell was not bad and it did great. Pat from Des Plaines, IL

Trewax is the best ! I used this product on my hard wood kitchen floors . The result was amazing . My floors were visibly dull , discolored & scratched . I had several companies give estimates on the cost of sanding & refinishing because in their words....that's all that could be done . My 19 yr old son researched wax removers & found trewax . It was not sold in store so we ordered it . This product was easy to apply . He used a old spray bottle & applied it in sections (3x3) then used a green scouring pad to loosen & whipe away the residue after having it sit for about 1min . I literally spent less than $20 bucks. The amount for the trewax $2 for multi pack scouring pads & $2 for clean up rags . Thanks to trewax & my son I saved well over $1,500 & the best part about it is my floor looks just as good as when I had it sanded & restained years ago .

I bought a bottle Trewax, I was like Cinderella on my hands on knees cleaning the floor, but this thing was like my fairy godmother, it was amazing. I cleaned up 13 yrs of wax build in my foyer and then build up off my laminate floor (it does say not to be used on laminate ). For the price and the result I would have given it 10 stars.

Great product. Used it on laminate floors and although it took us on our hands and knees it worked great. Floors look like new!

This product is amazing. My wood floors had a lot of wax buildup. This product made my floors look brand new. I highly recommend it.

This product performed better than I expected. I had imagined myself scraping the floor with a putty knife to remove the old wax and dirt that had built up on our cottage floor. When my husband told me he was going to rehire the same people at the cost of $300 to wash and wax the floor I told him no because they would just repeat the same process of waxing over dirt. I researched and found this product. Sure there was work involved in stripping the floor but it wasn’t hard work. I took an empty spray bottle and mixed half solution and half water. I sprayed a section of the floor and let the solution work for 15 to 20 minutes then scrubbed the floor with a textured sponge. Afterwards I wiped the area with clean water and paper towels before proceeding to another section. Do sections of the floor you can manage scrubbing within the 20 minute time frame as once it starts to dry you may have to repeat the process to get the old wax up. This floor has been in the cottage since the 1970’s and has seen children, dogs and adults with sand, mud and everything imaginable on the floor. After using this product, it was a clean as it was when first installed. I highly recommend this product.

We needed to remove years of wax build up on our hardwood floors. Diluted 50/50 with water in spray bottle and let soak approximately 10-15 minutes. Used plastic scraper and was messy (lots of paper towels needed) but wax was removed with no harm to floors

We use wax to protect end grain cuts here in our commercial wood shop. Sometimes spills or overspray happens and the floors can become slick. This wax remover works perfectly to strip the floor clean resulting in a safe work area. The only downside to this product is it's extremely strong ammonia odor. Ventilating properly during use is extremely important!

What's wonderful

A comment on-line stated this is good for hardwood floors. When I received the product it stated on the container that it Isn't recommended for use on hardwood floors, so I returned the product for refund. The on-line information was misleading. I cannot rate it's quality on other types of flooring, only that it cannot be used on hardwood.

I have dark porcelain tiles that had 5 coats of wax..horrible!! Trewax took all the wax off and made my porcelain tile BEAUTIFUL..answer to my prayers!!

For years I've used mop and glo and anything else I could find to make my hardwood floors shine! Little did I know that my beautiful floors would turn into a disgusting awful mess! I tried everything I could think of to remove the mess I caused with no luck! That is.... until I found Trewax. I read all the reviews and saw that many people loved this product and used it on their hardwoods ( even though the bottle says not to). I was desperate and WOW. I'm so glad I found it!! This saved me thousands of dollars!!

I installed a dark brown porcelain wood-look tile with the espresso grout. Looked awesome but wanted a little sheen to it. I applied Mop &Glow which was great at first, then the first wash caused the wax to build up in the dark grout lines. Now I had white crud in the grout from the Mop & Glow which looked awful. I scrubbed and scrubbed to no avail. A friend suggested a wax stripper and I ordered this product which did the trick in no time. Low odor and fast results. Good product.
