We try everything its in cool and high less than tenpeture outside and i doesnt work really sad i just blow hot air all the time we even turn everything off like lights and stuff and still doesnt work.... not recommended at all

Cold the LG that I ordered wasnt in stock so I picked up this one. Cold Quiet and a remote.

Only tried this A/C for an hour to see how it works, so far so good. Waiting for the hot days to put it to test for continuous operation and durability.

It's loud but really does the trick. Requires creative installation because the manufacturer's recommendation places all the weight on the window sash, which is not strong enough on a vinyl-clad window.

Not bad good unit

Our house is tiny (~700sqft), so this seemed to fit well. My office was the only one without a window unit, besides the front room. This unit works incredibly well. Granted, the room I'm cooling is only about 6x12ft. But it even started cooling the living room, about 15 ft away. Pretty cool cooling for the price.

Awesome cooler, for a medium office space. Something to keep the room cool. Easy to install, had no problem.

Pros: - Pleasing design - Compact - Easy to install even in horizontal window. - Not too loud Cons: - Stiff knobs can be difficult to turn - No function to bring in outside air Overall: The AC unit works well but it occupies the only window in the room. Some nights get down to the low 60s and it would be considerably more energy efficient to draw in cool air with a fan. Unfortunately, there is no function for that and the window no longer has a screen so that's not an option!

Works excellent in my small bedroom. A little loud, but that is is to be expected when its close to your bed. I installed in a side slide window instead of vertical slide, worked great!

compact size, easy installation and good price. Its make my room cool enough, I live in Hawaii.

Very easy to install it's perfect for a small bedroom......I have not received my electric bill so I can not tell you how efficient it is.......unable to load up picture....but it looks very clean.

Overall, it's pretty simple to install. The problem I had was the edge openings through the accordion side curtains and the top/bottom gaps. My idea to cover this was essentially to cut a piece of 1/4' plywood to replace the OEM window screen. Then, measure the ac unit and cut the hole accordingly. It turned out to be a lengthy process since the bottom is not straight. At the end it work by putting a plywood frame and adding enough insulating foam. Just finished it with window silicon. Works very well for my 10x12 office room. It gets very cold. It’s quiet also. I’m very pleased with this purchase. No dislikes as of yet. I’ve had it about a month already. I would definitely recommend it. Price was good as well.

I was looking for the smallest air conditioner for my RV, as the originally installed in RV air conditioner was way too noisy, so I have done some good research and decided to go with Friedrich CCF05A10A 16" Air Conditioner with 5000 BTU as it was shown a lowest noice 41DB AC. When I measured Friedrich CCF05A10A noice it was way above 55DB, so I had to return Friedrich. Then I tried to purchase this Toshiba 6,000 BTU, and measured the noice and I was so happy, it is really quite - noice level between 44 and 48 DB. So it is the best low noise AC in this size range to my opinion.

The AC does good for its size. But the remote is hard to use. The buttons on the remote are hard to push.

Works great so far. Added this 6K BTU to my 10K BTU and keeping whole house cool (1176 sq. Ft.). Easy to install.

Lots of nice features. Auto feature is great for days when it's hot but evenings cool off.

This little AC is amazing for the price! We installed it in our shed for comfort. It fits perfectly in the small window we already had in there. The drying function was excellent for aiding the drywall mud. Its humid here in south Georgia. What would've taken 2 days to dry, only took 8 hours.

I bought this 5 days ago and I think it's time for me to give you guys a REAL review on this product & No Toshiba is not paying me to write this! First of all I just want to say this is a really good AC for the price you are paying. DO NOT Put this is your big living room and expect it to cool the whole house and then complain that it doesn't work properly, this is a 6,000 BTU whatever that means but I put it in my room and it cools it nice and cold. Are you worried about the bill being to high? Don't worry this thing has an ECO button so it turns off when it feels that the room is nice and chilly and then it turns back on when it needs to get cold again. AGAIN you are paying $175 plus tax SO DO NOT Expect this to be the BEST AC in THE WORLD. This is not a Quite AC... but it's not SUPER Loud. This is my first AC I bought and I'm not sure if its normal but the fan inside the AC makes a little scratching noise, I did ask my friends and co workers and they all said its normal.. so can someone please confirm that with me. lol.... oh did I mention this has a remote control so your lazy body won't have to get up and change the temp on it? Oh did I also mention that it has LED lights sooooo expect the room to be a little bit light up at night.... if thats going to be an issue be smart and put something over the led lights.... it doesn't TAKE a rocket scientist to do it. The picture I posted is my AC, yes it looks ghetto and not safe at all but believe me it meets my exception and its really stable and I don't worry it will fall... haha.ahahah..ahaha! Easy to install, not noise and it cools down fast lov it !!11

It is very efficient and cools much better than I expected. We have had it about five days in very hot weather.

Very easy to use and install. I have a small 10' x 10' office that gets blasted by the eastern Oregon afternoon sun. This unit has made an instant difference and made my work bearable again. I installed it by myself as it is lightweight enough for me. If you select this unit over the energy star one, you may notice heat coming through the side panels. I cut piece of R-6 foam board and glued it to some birch plywood to build an insulation panel to slide over the unit from the inside to insulate the accordion style extensions. Now it is perfect. It looks great and is quieter than expected.

Needed an Air Conditioner to climate control and keep my Family Room comfortable. The room is 450 sq feet and it did a great job of cooling it down on a recently hot day. Easily circulated cool air throughout the room. The Unit also looks nice, clean modern look with easy to read Temp setting. It came with a basic remote for operation which worked great. The also unit ran very quietly which is nice for a unit this size. Very nice unit for this price point

This is a very nice unit with a lot of extra features for a model in this price range. This was a modernization update for my cabin, my current AC was still going strong (after many years of occasional use), but it had all manual controls, & was over 20 years old. And although I don't mind manual controls (as a previous reviewer noted, less to go wrong), having the remote control & electronic display this model comes with is a real upgrade. It's fun to test the different modes & functions without having to get up from your seat...and there are a lot of choices...Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan, Eco, Timer, and Sleep, & fan modes of Auto, Low, Medium & High...or many combinations of any-of-the-above. It's really going to take some fiddling to decide on my favorite, 'cause the machine acts differently in each setting, sometimes always on, sometimes cycling on/off, & many variations of the two. But again, it's fun to test it. It's very quiet on the low & medium fan speeds. The compressor is also pretty quiet. One thing lacking is an outside vent feature, which can sometimes be useful. I was, however, pleased with the directional air louvers options, a separate left & right control, & the option to go up & down...nice to have. Instruction manual covers several models, but was not hard to find my own, & was very thorough & easy to follow...installation was easy, about the same as previous AC's, some of my window screws even matched up with old ones...I LOVE that stuff! Note: Installing the battery on the remote was a pain...slight damage trying to open it (coin was stripping it), & battery didn't want to seat correctly to close it...annoying little pain-in-the-butt situation. Also, another note: in talking to a customer service supervisor, I was told the Dry mode is not “really” like a dehumidifier, just in essence another AC setting controlled by the temp you set it for (no humidity level setting, preset or otherwise), so be aware...whatever temp you set it on, it will eventually be blowing cold air. I have to say I'm a little disappointed the warranty on this model is only 1 year, it seems like it should be at least 2. This is a well made & well designed product, with higher-end features on an entry-level unit. This model was $179 when I got it, & seems like a good value.

We have no A/C but wanted something to take the "edge" off the heat. This unit works well although I didn't expect to cool the whole house of 1000 Square feet but more specifically just a single room and help supplement the use of fans. And even though the house isn't "cold" while using the A/C unit it does exactly what I wanted it to accomplish and that was to give a cooler feel inside the room and house from the heat outside. Creating a sort of "oasis" when coming inside the house from the outside heat. -Temperature control is from 62-86 F -The energy star is GREAT the fan will keep blowing the cold air out of the unit when the cold cycle is finished so the cold air is still circulating. -The unit is for windows that slide open up and down. -Easy to use. -The Filter is easy to clean but very cheep. Instructions are for Window Installation and Wall Installation. I wanted to place the A/C in the wall of the house which is my original plan and I am glad that the manual came with instructions to do but it will take awhile so.. I will be doing that over the course of a few days after the summer. Note on wall installation - to keep the side from being covered the max wall thickness is about 6 inches. the instructions say up to 12 inches but then you will need to be creative in some construction work to create a "cavity" on the outside to allow a larger opening to keep the sides clear. Seems like a lot of work. My walls are only about 5 inches thick so I don't see it being a problem. As for right now the A/C unit goes in the window. Installation was easy enough but plan on about half a day or the whole day. Get help it will go faster and easier. What is nice about window installation is that it is faster and easier then a wall installation and you can easily remove the A/C unit and place in storage during the cold months. *not required but recommended to install a brace if you plan on performing a wall installation. *Unit looks and feels like a microwave oven at least my son thinks so. *I would like to see manufactures make an A/C unit that installs into a window that slide sideways.

When looking for a product like this I prefer quality over price. Something I can use for years. This fits the bill. I use this in small spaces like the office in my shop. It cooled it down in a few minutes. 11.4 SEER with eco mode and does not cost a lot to run. Energy star, cheap to run. Just make sure you set to eco mode after the cool down. It has the best cooling properties of any similar product. Discharge air was coming out at 50 F. 115V, fits in most windows. Comes with everything you need for a proper install. Not that heavy and very easy to set up. 4 fans speeds and a remote. All the features that normally come on more expensive units. Also has a dehumidifying mode which is nice in FL. Very easy to clean.

The product was supposed to be delivered to the store by 4/29, it is now 5/10 and i still have not heard from anyone. Im embarraed for home depot for how awful this buying experience has been. Ive reached out for answers, and gotten none. This is pathetic.

The settings are very bright to use at night also very loud . Cooling works well.
