I was very excited when I first got it. It looked good. but after a month or so, one of the board/slat got cracked and later brooked.Now I have kept kept some pillows underneath the bed for support. I am very disappointed with this product.

The piece of wood at the head of the bed had the holes drilled on the wrong side but you can't tell because it's up against the wall. Material is kind of cheap but you get what you paid for. It's still sturdy though and does the job.

One of the wood pieces arrived split. Called & ordered a replacement to be sent but it artived without hardware so was unusable. Bed is still only partially assembled and the condo has been rented out.

It's a great product for the money. It's a typical particle board constructed build-it-yourself piece of furniture, but I'd say the build quality and location of holes drilled, instructions, etc. are definitely above average.

Excellent product, exactly what I was expecting!!!

Easy set up - 1 he and 15 minutes. Unit was as advertised in good condition and had very slight smell to it. Setup was a piece of cake and unit is sturdy - a slam dunk!

The shipping box was ridiculously heavy, my husband & I struggled to get it in the house and up the stairs. When I opened it, one of the pieces was marked up and the veneer was peeling off. Fortunately it was a side that would be facing a wall and I didn't feel like packaging it all back up and shipping it back so I dealt with it. Assembly was easy enough and took two of us less than an hour; it's nice looking but the platform doesn't actually attach to the base, it just rests on top, so we're finding that it slides around a lot. It's pretty sturdy, but the corners of the platform are squared off and very protrusive, so you have to be really careful not to rack your shin on it as you walk by. I have a feeling that my daughter is going to incur some bruises. I don't know why they would make it this way...obviously someone did not think this through!

The bed frame came with easy instructions to follow. Pieces were labeled well and the quality of the frame was better than I expected.

I love this platform bed frame. Unfortunately it was packaged very poorly and the package was torn and a few pieces were exposed. Because it is a laminate the exposed pieces started to bubble. The piece itself is extremely sturdy and heavy. The directions say 45 minutes to complete assembly. My husband is contractor and it took him closer to 2 hours. Other than the poor packaging, bubbling pieces,and having to help the UPS man carry it in my house I'm overall pleased with the construction. There should be some type of straps around the box to make delivery easier for the courier and the consumers. Also the pieces inside should be wrapped in plastic and Styrofoam to avoid damage and seperation from the laminate coating and the actual wood. Great frame if you catch good sale.

Needed a platform for my 15 year old's bed. The box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs but the mattress would. I purchased this to support the mattress. It is the perfect height and so easy to set up my wife was able to do it... mostly ;)

This was shipped directly to my home , it arrived quickly and the packaging was compact but sturdy. There were no broken pieces and assembly was quick and simple. It looks so nice it my teenage daughters bedroom.

Some of the pieces of the finished wood were chipped. Also the bed is too big for full mattress. There is a 2-3in open that allows the mattress to move.

I purchased 2full size for my sons and it was so easy to put together that it turned into a family project dad and sons bonding the beds arrived on time and in good condition I'm thinking of getting a queen size for myself

It took about 3 hours to assemble slowly and carefully. Some of the holes on the board are misaligned which caused the perimeter railing to be misaligned. The best thing about it is the price. I paid about $125 for it. The worst thing is the smell of the particle board. It's somewhat toxic, but should be ok once it is aired out. My wife and I just put a thin mattress pad above it and sleep on the hard surface, so the smell can get pretty bad. I picked up the bed in store and somebody somewhere dropped it on a corner. A corner on two boards chipped off, but they designed the bed such that it was on the underside and not visible. Still, seeing broken board pieces was annoying. Even for its price, this is an average value, but it's something to consider if you like to sleep on a hard surface. Be sure to air it out for a while though.

Bought this to upgrade a toddler to a real bed. The platform is sturdy and heavy but 3 of 5 pieces of molding came damaged in transit. Luckily South Shore has some great customer service, I did an online chat session with them for the parts replacement on a Saturday and the replacement pieces arrived Tuesday. My only comment to the manufacturer is maybe make the molding more curved but otherwise we are pleased with the purchase.

Although the bed is not made of the most quality material, the price was right. It's actually pretty sturdy and decent. My daughter is happy and that's what matters.

I was able to put the platform bed together in 40 mins by myself. Only required a screw driver. I bought for my teenage daughter and she loves it.

I've had this bed frame about a month and am satisfied with the product. It is on par with Ikea furniture both in its construction and assembly, and costs much less than many of their bed frames. Like any furniture of this size and grade (cheap materials, self assembled) I don't know that I expect it to survive a move without disassembling it, or that if I take it apart I will be able to put it back together. Before purchasing I read reviews from people who said it took them hours to put together even with a partner, that the pictorial instructions didn't make sense or that holes didn't line up. I put this together by myself in <90 minutes, including making the bed. The only time I had a problem with holes not lining up was when I tightened one side of a panel before even starting to screw in the other side. Once I loosened the first side, the other side lined up. I will agree with other reviewers that the box IS extremely heavy so definitely have it delivered if you live up even a single flight of stairs, or don't have anyone to help carry it from your car. I had to lay it down and slide it from my doorway to the bedroom; that was probably the hardest part of all!

I assembled this alone in about 30 minutes, no drill, mallet, or anything required except the pieces they give you and a screwdriver. Very easy. Looks nice in my apartment, I like the simple style; exactly as pictured. No problems at all, would recommend to a friend.

The platform was easy to assemble, however the pieces were not drilled correctly. One piece was drilled on the wrong side of the board requiring the piece to be put together with the unfinished side to be on the outside rather than the inside.

We received the package and we had to open the box to take it to the upper level where the bedroom was because it was VERY HEAVY. When we had opened the box we realized many pieces where scratched and even BROKEN! We read the return policy and it was such a hassle that we didn't even know how to return it since it was so heavy. So we decided to assemble it despite the defects. Well, some part would not allign perfectly. If I were you I would NOT BUY this bed frame despite how cheap it is.
