I tried copper union for water softener lines, could not make good seal, shark bite worked like charm.

Life saver when you are in a pinch.

I normally use sweat fittings, but in this case I had a pinhole leak in a piece of 3/4" copper pipe (yeah, I know, weird) that was too close to a gas line and some PVC pipes to be able to use a torch. The SharkBite fittings are crazy expensive, but they did the job perfectly. Just be sure to properly prepare the ends of the pipe (square and deburred) and you'll get a perfect seal.

The SharkBite worked great connecting two hoses together on my Manobloc System.

Quick and easy installation.

Used these on copper piping on a water heater, so far, they are working great, just make sure you push the pipe into the shark bite far enough.

Works every time. Quick and easy and saves a lot of time and money.
