missing the manual , extentions and pet tool. had some plastic piece not listed . now having to drive to a home depot to return. makes me nervous for new washer and dryer coming from them

In a good way!!! This picture is just from the living room! With nine people and three pets, our floors take a beating. My precious vacuum would only fill up after vacuuming the whole house.

When using the attachment to vacuum anything else that is not carpet the vacuum falls over very easily. The hose is not long enough to stay extended making it very hard to complete the cleaning. To clean the vacuum its hard to find the right tool to unscrew. Different size bolts as well.

Review with 5 stars after the purchase and using it twice.Tried to use it today and no suctioning power/strange noise instead as if the belt or rollers were jammed. Checked the roller/took apart nozzles/intake metal tubing. Totally clogged with carpet fibers-( have 3 different types of carpets/thickness).Had to use a knife/long screw driver/narrow metal piping to dislodge/sever/remove the chunks stuck with the hosing. This never happened with the previous Shark.

I love shark vaccums! This is the second shark vaccum that I have purchased. If you want your carpet to look new again, this is a must buy. I love the lift away feature and the mini vacuum attachment that it comes with to use for my steps. So happy with this purchase.

I expected the vacuum to clean a 6x8 area rug without having to clean the dog hair out of the roller. The attached photo was from vacuuming a rug that had been vacuumed two days earlier.

When we took the vacuum out of the box we were surprised to see how small the head is. Don't be fooled! This vacuum has the most suction I have ever seen on a vacuum!! We bought a hoover wind tunnel and vacuumed the house and watched dirt blowing back in the room we returned it immediately for this vacuum. We vacuumed 2 rooms with it and dang.... my house was horribly dirty still!! Not any more

you have to cut off all the pet hair from the bottom of the brush. will be returning. very disappointed. I've owned cheaper vacuums that I didn't have to do this with whatsoever!

I picked up today, and used it immediately when I got home. I have a carpet around anywhere in my house I know how dirty they are. I have been use Dyson V8 for 3 years, and it broken twice when I am using it. I tried with Dyson product just wanna try some new. this one works pretty good. This machine has 3 gears. off/ floor/ carpet. The carpet file is the one with the most suction. easy take the debris, Hairs and dust. (I don't have any pet at my home, I don't know how works for the pets hair) The only 1 reason I give it for 4 star, is super heavy! when I done all my rooms, I am super tried and sweaty.

By far the best vacuum I ever had!!! I started using shark products back in 2015 and I swear by them. I had my last vacuum for 6 years and it still works but I just really wanted an upgrade!! I'm sooooo impressed! I have 3 cats and 2 kids and my house looks amazing now!!! I cant believe the suction on this beast!!!!!! I also have an Oreck that my dad left me b4 he passed away and he paid Twice as much as I did from my shark and this works 10 times better than the oreck. I also love the gold color!!!! Don't mind my picture because I just got done vacuuming and it's all dusty now lol.

I am a mom of 2 boy's, two aussie dogs, and 2 cats. I had a A Shark professional but the hose was irreplaceable on the model so I got this one. Now I agree Shark vacuums are amazing. But this one? Its so cheaply made and weird. First off I didnt receive any of the tools. There is no head light. Second putting it together is easy but its so flimsy. The performance is great the first couple of times. But after only 2 weeks of use the filter needs changed and it struggles to pick smaller debris like sand and dirt(were Floridian) like my older model did. Emptying the cup is no cinch either. There is a latch system in which you have to bend over and unlatch 2 bracket things and lift the cup up. The cup doesnt empty all the way so you gently tap it to get the hair wedged in the top out and a plume of dust and dander goes every where. Its disgusting. The brush roll is ok but does kick back on some things. Cat litter is a no go. Just kicks back or doesnt pick up. My old shark had no trouble with it. This isnt what I was expecting at all. I feel like I got jipped. Returning tomorrow.

Just tried my new shark today- WOW!! I can’t believe what it picked up, vs my old Hoover wind tunnel!!! It got all the little things at the carpet/baseboard that my Hover would miss. I used on the stairs too, and it is very light and easy to maneuver. Only issue, the long tube extension and fabric attachment don’t fit on the vacuum itself and have to be stored separately. But worth that inconvenience to me.

I wanted to buy a Dyson because I hear how great they are..I was looking at the pet one $500. Well I did not want to spend that much so figured I would try this shark.. Not even$200 with tax and it cleans so good.. I had a old Dyson that was just not working anymore... This photo is what the shark picked up from the carpet... Two bags this size... Keep in mind I vacume everyday with the old Dyson

I vacuum my apartment every week, so I was shocked when I used this vacuum the first time. One pass over half of my living room filled the container twice! It is picking up dog hair and general mess from having a dog effortlessly, and is very easy to handle.

My old expensive Dyson bit the dust one morning, and I don't have time to wrangle with Dyson's rude customer service (had problems since we got the Dyson vac, and they acted like it was our fault the thing kept overheating and shutting off randomly). Well, I will never ever spend $300+ on a Dyson again now that I know about Shark vacuums. When I first got it, I ran it over a small bedroom I had already vacuumed with the crappo Dyson in the morning. It picked up SO much dirt and dog hair, I had to empty the Shark's dust cup after only vacuuming that small room. On that note, the Shark's dust cup is smaller, but after my whole house was thoroughly cleaned, each weekly vacuuming doesn't pick up so much because it's finally CLEAN, as the first round was picking up what the Dyson had missed over three years since the new carpet was installed. Speaking of carpet, this thing is great on either wall-to-wall, rugs, or hard floors. Easy switch to turn off the roller brush. I have to adjust the suction for my shaggier rugs, but that's easily done by twisting a little collar around the Shark's hose. Overall, I'd choose this vacuum over and over again. It feels durable, so I probably won't need a new one for years, but this one really is phenomenal for the under $300 range.

It really cleans well the carpet and easy to carry around!!!! I love it.

It is an excellent vacuum cleaner, it has a very good suction, it is easy to assemble and it has several functions in addition to different accessories for difficult to reach places. the cord to connect it to the light is very long which I like because you can use it without having to connect and disconnect it every so often. It is almost perfect but it is a bit heavy and I am a small person which is difficult for me to manipulate.

We have two dogs and had been vacuuming with an old vacuum cleaner for a long time. We are AMAZED at the dog hair and dirt that this vacuum picks up. It is lightweight and we love you can remove the canister and clean furniture eat.

A really great vacuum - picks up really well and it has a feature to turn of or on the roller and just use suction. It swivels nicely, easy to dump container. Two small issues all the accessories can be stored on the unit and that bugs me (includes the extension piece and the animal hair head) the other issue is when using the handheld feature while it works fantastically it is a bit difficult to move the hose part. Despite these two issues it’s the best vacuum I’ve ever owned and I’ve been through a lot searching for something like this. Luv it.

Easy set up and works great!!!

We had a central vac system in our last house and we just moved so we had to buy a vacuum that vould handle pet hair since we hace a dog and a cat. Well i vacuumed our sofa forvthe first time and what came out was shocking! We vacuum the furniture weekly due to my allergies and also had the furniture professionally cleaned a few months ago. The picture below says it all, this vacuum is worth every penny!!

I’ve only used this once since I’ve received it, but it’s awesome! I did a test with my old vacuum over the hard wood and carpet. The shark literally sucks up everything, and I was surprised to see all of the pet hair it vacuumed up — after I had used my other vacuum. Cool settings and easy to set up.

Relatively quiet and easy to maneuver. Canister is easier to empty than our previous Vac. Did knock the hose lose at bottom on a cabinet at the toe kick. Strong suction. Great deal at Home Depot thanksgiving sale. Shipping was pretty quick. Glad I purchased!

My second Shark vacuum and quite different. Tons of suction just wish it was a little more ergonomic. The on/ off switch is very awkward and non user friendly location. The handle on top of the dust tank needs a more rounded shape so not to cut into your hand while vacuuming stairs. The accessories holder is up too high on the top handle and gets in the way. Overall it has tons of suction but is bulky and slightly heavy for a shark model. My kids prefer our old lighter model. While I use this one for the downstairs only. Long story short I would not buy this model again with this design. Id opt for a more streamline / lighter model that Shark is known for.

This is even better than the older Shark I had that took a real beating before it stopped working. This Shark is lighter, the cord is incredibly long, it doesn't fall over like the heavier older model used to and it did not have to be turned down to lower power on the high shag rug. Assembly was all of 31 seconds, just snapping a few pieces into place. Very small and light means easy to store away. It was full of cat hair after one pass on the bedroom carpet - plenty of suction. It was just as easy to empty as the older model also. The wand is a little different and much longer so less bending to suck along the edges. Great vacuum - 6 stars!!!

This is my fourth Shark. They have all upped and died one day for different reasons. I prefer Shark because of their filtration system. This model has a longer cord. Good and bad in that. Good for just moving forward, bad for doubling back. Never appreciated the swivel feature on any vacuum. I find it annoying. The lock down tank seems unnecessary, but maybe it filters better? The tank is definitely too small and pet hair gets kind of stuck in there and one has to pull it out. The lift away is nice for me because I can get up to vacuum the HVAC vents. The thing I most dislike is the lack of extended nozzle. I do vacuum along baseboards and in tight areas and having to attach the wand all the time is a pain. Plus there is no place to store the wand onboard. I put it where the brush is supposed to go and it is a bit awkward when I tilt to vacuum floors. Overall I think this vacuum is pretty good for the price, but the designers need to spend some time listening to people who vacuum their whole home frequently.

The only negative that I can see is the vacuum is a little top heavy and can tip over relatively easy in the closet when it gets bumped. That is not a big deal to me. Others have said that it's not very wide so you have to go over the areas a little more but, again, not an issue for me. I love the narrower head that will go between end table and chair legs. This vacuum is the bomb! I love love love it! It's easy to assemble, easy to empty and has a long cord. The lift away feature is great to vacuum the stairs and there is no "throw back" of dirt or dust flying around. Everything is contained and it works great. I can't believe how much dog hair it picks up! I've even been know to take a picture of it to show my friends. Lol I don't mind cleaning nearly as much now and highly recommend this vacuum.
