Lock Mechanism Design Flaw
I store a few guns and then paperwork and other personal items. The safe is seldom opened. After a few years, the dial mechanism will not open due to a design flaw. Since this is over one year from purchase, Sentry will not fix or replace the safe. Their only recommendation was to hire a locksmith.
I would not recommend this or any other produce due to their inability to stand behind their product.

very strong and sturdy
This safe met my expectations for a secure safe and, with the adjustable shelves there is ample room for everything regardless of shape or size!. (I do miss a light source ; however a torch works just fine) this safe is well made and not difficult to install; best of all it is user friendly.

Executive Safe
I have experienced several problems with this safe. The first delivery had to be returned because front of safe was badly scratched. The replacement has the felt lining on the shelves and interior is hanging off the edges instead of glued to surfaces. There had been wet, and glue spots on the back of the shelves that needed cleaning. The door needed to be left open to dry out the safe. Now the door will not close properly and it can't be locked.

Nice & heavy BUT not waterproof unless bolted down
Nice & heavy BUT not waterproof unless bolted down - should have been designed better to allow free standing safe to be waterproof.
Factory safe code NOT affixed to instruction book - trying to figure out if customer service will be able to help.
Should have incorporated LED lighting system inside.

Strong and secure safe
It feels very secure. It's heavy and easy to use. The instructions were straight forward. The shelves are durable. The size is perfect. I'm very happy that it comes with a back up key in case the buttons don't work.

Door was hard to lock
The door wouldn't close and lock. Sentry safe told me to remove the foam weather strip. I removed it with a razor blade and it closes fine. However it's not water proof.
