    A:  The top bolt is meant to be straight and shouldn't be bent towards the front of the door, however it can be bent back to the proper position.

        A:  The battery tray is behind the number pad. Push up from the bottom of the number pad and it will come off so you can change the batteries.

            Q:Does the unit have a override key or not? 1 QA states has a key another QA says it does not have a key? A: It does not come with a key, but there is a compartment on the outside of the safe where you can insert a 9volt battery to jump start the keypad.

            A:  This particular safe has a override key that lets you in when the electronic entry will not for some reason. There is a battery connector behind the keypad that can allow using a 9 volt if needed, but we would suggest contacting us to see if other options would be better, first.
