Faulty
The product is defective and breaks down within just 2 to 3 months of use. Despite multiple attempts to get it resolved, Samsung has failed to address the issue. It's concerning to see that even the positive reviews of the product fail to acknowledge this major flaw, which is consistently highlighted in the 1-star reviews. Frankly, this appliance does not deserve even a single star, let alone the 4-star rating it has received in some places. It's no surprise to see it back on sale again!

    Buyer BEWARE
    After four months, the freezer started to thaw. I immediately reached out to the service department, but they could only schedule a service appointment eight days later. When I contacted the warranty department, I expected more than just empathy and hollow apologies. It's unacceptable that Samsung's only service department for all of Palm Beach County is unable to provide prompt service for a brand-new appliance. It's even more frustrating that Home Depot continues to sell a faulty product. Samsung's warranty department needs to take responsibility for this and offer a solution that is helpful and supportive, not just empty words. My husband and I were looking for a new refrigerator and finally decided on the Samsung model. We were happy with our purchase and excited to have the extra space. However, just after four months, the freezer started to thaw. I contacted the service department, but they could only schedule a service for eight days later. When I spoke with the warranty department, they empathized with me but said there was only one service department in my area, which served all of Palm Beach County. I found it frustrating since the refrigerator was still brand new. The appliance is faulty, yet Home Depot, a company that many people trust, still sells it. It's disappointing that the warranty department offered no helpful or supportive options.

      Fridge was delivered 12/18 and by 12/28 it no longer worked. Been without a working fridge since. Get the run around from Samsung on techs coming out, ultimately will send a replacement fridge but still waiting and its 1/22/24.

      I got sick of stuff getting lost in my refrigerator because I can’t lean over. The bottom freezer has two different sizes of ice which i use more than I thought I would.

          Freezer broke in first month
          Refrigerator area is huge. The freezer is not as spacious as it appears. Ice maker broke after 3 weeks. Ice cream stays soft even though the temperature says 0. Let’s see if the repairs work.

            Buyer Beware
            Purchased the unit Oct 23’, stopped cooling by Dec 20th. Took 12 days for a technician to come out with each Samsung support person giving different reasons for the delay. Basically got the run around for 2 weeks. Fridge cooled for 1 week and is broke again. Now we are waiting another week for someone to come out and I’m sure they will say they need more parts and continue with the poor support. Going on a month with mount a fridge now!!! Avoid this model and brand.

              No freezer lights
              Nice basic fridge without all the bells and whistle headaches. My biggest gripe is they cheaped out on the freezer lights. It has 2 area in each freezer drawer where LED would be, so 4 total. Only 1 out of 3 had LED installed. Thought it was a mistake, so they sent a tech out. Even the techs were confused why 3 out of 4 LED lights were missing. Long story short… Freezer drawers only come with 1 light for the left side of the top drawer, bottom drawer is always without light.

                Nice design but breaks in a week
                We loved the design of this fridge and was excited to receive it. However, 1 week later that was a completely different story. After 1 week the fridge stopped cooling due to a blocked compressor. Samsung support wasn't helpful, giving us the run around and telling us to just flip the breaker and it will work. A new compressor wouldn't be available for 2-4 weeks and they didn't seem to care. Avoid this unit and buy a different brand.

                  This fridge is amazing! It is so roomy - love being able to find things at last- - so much better than side by side! I would like for the top shelf to be adjustable, but have inserted clear pull out bins on that shelf so I can reach items in the back. other than that wouldn't change anything. Wide shelves and deli bin were wonderful for accommodating holiday trays & dishes. The 2 freezer drawers hold less than our old side by side but they do help us waste less time digging around to find items. The small ice cubes are great -since they are the only ones we use, we keep popsicles in the other ice bin. This fridge has made food storage and prep so much easier - would definitely recommend.

                  This seem like a nice refrigerator and everything seems to work. The Samsung application that is supposed to work with this "smart" appliance will not download into any of my smartphones or tablets. I think the app has been discontinued. Any smart features of this refrigerator, if they exist, are useless.

                  Initially, a unit was sent that turned out to be defective, most likely damaged during installation. The second unit was fine, but the doors were slightly misaligned. The installers were in too much of a hurry to finish, resulting in the issue. Despite this, the second unit functions very well, and we would recommend this refrigerator to others. We would also consider purchasing from Home Depot again, but advise ensuring adequate time for delivery without pressure from the installers.

                  Product was delivered the week of Thanksgiving. December 16th the unit stopped cooling, the repair man was out and had to order parts. All of the coolant had leaked out. The parts are now on backorder and I am going on more than two weeks without a fridge. Definitely switching to a IPhone after this experience.
