Great little tool. Easy to use, easy to adjust, and does a great job on my lawn maintenance work. Definitely not for commercial use but really nice for small jobs.

Excellent tool! Edger does an excellent job and has powerful motor. Very fair price with excellent quality. Make sure to have 2 batteries to use when edging.

18V Edger kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this delivered today, works great! Very nice, clean cut. Battery ran out fairly quickly, but I had another 18v battery from another Ryobi tool. In fairness, I hadn’t edged my driveway and patio in some time, so I’m not surprised by the initial short battery run time. Now that I’ve edged it I’m sure the battery runtime will be better for the maintenance trims.

Battery Life
I purchased the Ryobli P2300 edger. My battery went out in 10 minutes, It was fully charged and died. What good is it if the battery doesn’t work for such a short time.

Tried a string edger and trimmer but did not work well for edging. This particular edger is the perfect tool for the job.My front yard looks like a professional did the edging. My 11 years old step son can use it.

I like this edger. It works well and the battery lasts to finish my yard. It is a little heavier than I anticipated, but still can handle (I'm a 69 yr female). Worth the purchase price.

Has a very specific use, but does so beautifully
New for about a year and have had no issues. I can edge my driveway and curb and I have the best looking yard in the neighborhood with the help of the ryobi weed wacker and blower
I have, 2, 4 & 6 Ah 18V batteries. The 2 Ah will just barely get my driveway done and some of the front property. The 4 and 6 Ah batteries have no issues doing the whole property and still have juice to clean the pavement up with the blower. Anyone complaining the batteries don't last needs to get new ones.

It works. I just doesn't hold a charge for very long so work fast. I think once the edges are under control it will be better but that first edging was tough. The charge might last a few minutes.

I couldn't edge to save ny life. Nit with the traditional wire or line edger at least. This is so easy to assemble and operate I would recommend to anyone. It have a blade which for me makes it super convenient and easy to use.

Great!
I got this a few weeks ago and used it for the first time yesterday. First time using an edger in general, and this one was pretty easy to use. I loved the fact that you can adjust the middle handle to make it fit the grip/angle you like. The adjustable blade is pretty great too!

Complete Junk
Purchased on-line and picked up at store, 3 hours after ordering item wasn't picked.
Tried edger and it was great but after 30 feet it burned itself out.
