The "diamond coated" drill was sparsely populated with diamonds and most of them sloughed off during the first use on a piece of glazed tile (Yes, I used the clever little water box but it didn't help with the original drill). Then bought a whole set of diamond tile drills online for about the same price, used them with the water box, and what a difference: drilled 8 more holes with the substitute drill that now looks like it would easily do 8 more!!). Verdict: water box works fine but included drill was a piece of disappointing worthless junk!

This product did not function as I had hoped or wanted. The seals would not affix to the tile, it leaked and the bit had no bite to it. I ended up going back to a standard carbide bit set and a lot of patience.

while i was able to drill the holes i needed, do not expect the water cooling system to stick to your wall tiles. once you put the drill bit through the sleeve and add the water, it immediately un-sticks and the water container spills all over the wall and floor, once the tile is wet, no chance to get it to stick again. used the spray bottle technique. Got two holes done, expect the tool will not last since the cooling chamber failed and the bit probably overheated.

Good enough. I was able to drill 12 holes through porcelain subway tile. The box is flimsy plastic and does leak during use. Get yourself some regular 3M double sided sticky squares if you need to drill more than 8 holes.

Didn't work at all. It caught some of the water but mostly it all just leaked out. The tape was not strong enough so two seconds in to drilling it popped off and spun around the drill bit dumping everything out. Tried everything I could think of to get it to work and it barely started a hole. Had to go back and get a carbide tipped masonry bit after all.

Does not hold to tile with adhesive. Idea is great but practical application does not work.

I didn't use the water box part but the drill bit was awesome. It cut a perfect hole in a 1/4" thick glass and left the removed glass in the bit like a piece of wood. Awesome.

Really happy with the performance of this diamond hole saw. It cut thru the tiles with no problem, giving the tile a good clean and round hole.

Worked good with clean holes. They need to include more double sided tape. The flow of water between the upper and lower containers is a bit fast. I had my wife pour water in at a slower rate.

I wanted to drill through tile.It was ineffective.

Drill bit broke the minute it touched the tile

This product is very poor in quality. plastic guide for the drill bit was smaller than the drill itself. I just could not insert it through the plastic guide shaft. The water flow was too fast. I would have expected the drilling action to initiate water flow, but it simply flowed from top to bottom. The sticky pads provided do not have good adhesion - and serves no purpose. This product was waste of money, even for the drill bit. I tried to use the bit without the plastic guides, (by starting off the drilling at an angle like you normally do with diamond bit),, and the diamond pieces flew off. I would strongly recommend not to buy this product! (sorry)

The bit did an adequate job on the porcelain tile, though it didn’t last very long before wearing out.

Drill bit worked pretty good. Hard to get started but once started this bit worked the best out of the three I tried. On the sixth hole the most of the diamond tip was pretty worn had to finish last hole with a different bit. You will have a mess with water but if you lay some towels out it is a easy clean up. Well worth the price.

I purchased this so I could make two holes in the porcelain tile in my bathroom floor. I was extremely disappointed in this product as it only got me about halfway through one tile before all the abrasive material rubbed off the tip so it no longer cut & I had to get a new bit from another store.

Bought this to drill tile to mount a grab bar in the shower. I followed the directions exactly and found that the tape would not hold the guide in place when I started drilling. It is necessary to use the tape and also hold the guide. Be sure the wall is totally dry or the tape will not hold at all. Although it is difficult to use, it is nearly impossible to drill a hole in ceramic tile without a guide I tried that also but the bit dances across the tile, so you need the guide. It would be easier for two people one to hold the guide and one to drill the hole. Additionally, each piece was only good for one hole.

Did not meet my need to drill porcelian tile on my shower

used a carbide bit to start and easily finished with diamond bit. I was floor drilling

Was good at first, but after drilling 2 holes on porcelain, it became dull. Will defenitely not recommend it!!

The water chamber allowed the water to pour too quickly. Otherwise I feel this is a great product. I liked the chamber, since it allowed me to center the drill bit easily. I plugged some of the holes to slow the water. The drill bit worked great and I was able to install the shower door easily.

I I bought two bits that day just in case one broke. They both gave out after drilling two holes thru tile.

It broke on the second hole. Piece of junk.
