Love the entire collection! No parts were missing and everything went together as stated in the assembly instructions. The strip in the back really helps to stabilize the bookcase and add detailing to the look. Happy with my purchase and will be ordering more of this collection for my home office.

We needed a large white bookshelf for our sunroom and originally found one at Ikea, but it was on backorder. After searching online, we found this one, took a chance, and ordered it. It was relatively easy to put together, and looks nice in the space with which we're using it. The only downside would be the cheap construction of the back of the bookshelf (some sort of cardboard) and the exposed screws on the interior sides. If the back up against a wall, it's fine, but the screws needs to be covered up somehow (we used white paint.)

I was looking for an affordable way to build semi custom cabinets for my laundry room. I purchased 3 open bookcases and fastened them together and put doors and trim on them to make a built in at fraction the cost of having something custom made. I am happy with my purchase.

I am very pleased with the bookcase that I recently purchased. It is well made and matches built in bookcases that I have. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were very easy to follow. The price was very affordable. I have been well pleased with other pieces of furniture that I have ordered from Home Decorators.

This shelving unit was a cinch to put together, and it feels really solid. I don't care for the cam bolt heads showing, but I can touch up over them. This piece looks great and will hold a ton of office stuff. Great value.

I've been totally satisfied with these bookcases. They are really good bookcases for being 'put together yourself' furniture. We have these bookcases in 3 different sizes now & have had some of them for a few years. They look nice... they aren't hard to put together... they are sturdy... there are many options for sizes in the line, plus other furniture as well (we also have a desk and another piece). No complaints whatsoever & obviously I've come back & bought more pieces from this line over time. We use it in our daughters room. Great low-cost option. I would recommend & I would buy again. By the way, some 'white' furniture is actually 'off-white' when you get it. This furniture is 'white white', just so you know. I myself always wonder...

Looked for an inexpensive bookcase for our pantry. Saw some for less elsewhere, but they were made of particle board and had bad reviews. This one came quickly and was easily assembled by myself in about 30 minutes. It is sturdy, can hold heavy books, and looks good. With the trim it looks like a more expensive bookcase. Very happy with my purchase.

The bookcase arrived very quickly. The pieces were labeled and the instructions easy to follow. I easily put it together myself without any assistance. It looks great in my daughters room, is sturdy, and is already filled with hardback books. One note: Build it in the location you intend to place it because it is heavy. Use a cordless drill for a smooth process. Using just a screwdriver would be a very tedious process.

These bookcases are beautiful! And very easy to assemble.

I have two of these shelf units and am very pleased with them. I especially appreciated the clear directions for assembly. All pieces are marked and the screws/etc are individually packaged and marked. There were even a couple of extras. I did use my own tools as the "tightener" included was pretty flimsey, I live in a very small house (800 sq feet) and space is at a premium. I am using this shelf unit in my kitchen and find it is exactly what I needed.

The book shelf was exactly what I was looking for. It is very nice looking. After assembled the book shelf did have a heavy chemical smell that last a couple of days

We have purchased many items from HDC and been pleased with every one; this is no exception. I was looking for a narrow bookshelf for the kitchen to house my collection of Cookbooks, and this is perfect. Easy to assemble, nice finish, very sturdy.

Bookshelf is stable and its black satin finish makes it look more expensive than it was.

The back wall of the shelving unit looks cheap, but it's covered when items are added to the shelves. Overall happy with the look of the product.

solid, and easy to construct. keep in mind they can not be placed side by side due to overhanging top. hardware was complete, well marked, and had extras. good instructions

I love this bookcase. So easy to put together. It's high quality, a good price, very sturdy, not cheap or flimsy, and will last for years. I know this because I've bought the same bookcases about 7 years ago and they are still going strong, and that's after 2 moves!

Whatever I've ordered from Home Decorators has always been higher quality then what you would expect from the price. I had no problem putting together the bookcases and they are beautiful. I'm buying some as a gift for my son.

Very easy to put together by one person. Clean lines, directions for the most part easy to follow, slightly tricky to put the back on, but eventually able to figure it out. Seems sturdy so far!

These are good book shelves for a compact space. The materials feel solid. The shelves can support a good amount of weight. When the shelves arrive, there was a gash in one of the shelves appearantly created during shipping, but fortunately it is in the back. You put it together yourself and the structure is dependent on cam bolts to hold it together. Those cam bolts can sometimes be a little tricky to work with. I was not able to get all of the "wobble" out of the shelves. Nevertheless it is a good product for the price.

The pegs used to hold the shelves up, do not stay in the holes if much weight is put on the shelf. Certainly should not be call a book shelf!!!

I was pretty impressed with the quality of this bookcase versus the common RTA bookcases out there. Good job, guys!

Happy with purchase so far. I purchased the black bookcase and it looks great.Bought to hold many books and it seems to be doing the job so far. The back is made of cardboard but you don't see it and the pegs that hold the shelves are plastic. Time will tell how sturdy it it really is. Not bad for the price.

Bookcase arrived quickly and in good condition (packaging was nice). Directions are very straightforward and it is easy to put together (one person can easily do this). Wood has a nice look to it and bookcase seems sturdy. Overall, great value for the price. My only recommendation for improvement would be to include dark colored pegs for shelf holders. The bookcase came with white plastic pegs for a very dark colored bookcase.

I was looking for the almost impossible- a bookcase to fit in a small corner of my office. This one is less wide than the standard and was a perfect fit. It was easy to assemble and looks great! A great value for the money!
