It makes ice very quickly and is easy to fill and clean

Produces Ice quickly and consistently. It will refill when we have parties and use a lot of ice. We had a problem with the water pump and the manufacturer is very good about responding and replacing the needed parts.

Our family uses this unit everyday! Especially in the hot summer months! It's been so great to have ice whenever we need it in minutes!

It's compact and excellent to make ice. Very Good product!

Very useful for parties, either my own or when my nearby family is hosting. Makes lots of ice cubes in a short amount of time. I alway keep a few bags in my deep freeze for unexpected needs.

I received this ice maker as a gift and really didn't know what to expect, but man is it pretty hardly and works great! I've had this bad boy for about 8 months. The customer service is super solid as well, with a really quick response time. Will be sticking with Newair!

This ice maker is perfect for what my family and I were looking for. For the high output of ice, the ice maker is compact, self-sustained, and easy to maintain. It's nice that there are three different ice size options. When I had an issue with a broken part within the ice maker, the support staff were prompt in their response, concise with potential solutions, and are being helpful in the process of replacing the defective unit. I have minor frustration about the broken part - especially regarding the limited time I had the product, but overall, my experience has been good and I would recommend this product to others.

We had the first icemaker for approximately 11 years before having any problems with it. We are waiting for a replacement water pump. In the meantime we purchased a second icemaker and are enjoying that in our RV. Definitely a quality product.

We are a family of four living in the Phoenix are, and this ice maker has been a life saver. Our refrigerator ice maker was not able to keep up, but this machine has handled the job well. As my husband said, "It's a game changer." I say was. Two weeks before the warranty was up, it broke. Contacting NewAir regarding the warranty was a bit of a clunky process. There has been much back and forth, and it has been determined that I need a replacement part. However, the warranty does not cover the taxes on the part or the cost of shipping said part. I was provided a link, and told that if I write a review, these fees would be waived. So here is my review. I'm really hoping that once the part arrives, that we will be able to repair our ice maker. I truly miss it.

Very easy to use and makes ice quickly. Ran into a problem with it when it stopped working but customer service was quick to fix the problem!

We have three family members that use ice all day, every day in their drinks!! In-addition our two kitty kats enjoy their water with ice all day long.. Excellent customer service!!

My unit leaked and Fern worked with me through multiple e-mails to get me a replacement under warranty. The machine is a workhorse, able to keep up with my wife's ice needs even during hot Oklahoma summers.

First icemaker lasted 11 years before any problems. We are purchasing a replacement water pump for that unit but decided to purchase another icemaker. We had a fantastic results with this icemaker. Definitely looking to have a back up unit one for home and one for the RV.

My wife is an ice-aholic. She uses an unbelievable amount of ice daily. This machine more than kept up with her. A real workhorse.

We have had this unit for 18 months and it has made a ton of ice. Really we have made a lot of ice with no issues. After some time the hinge on the is tray broke and customer support was easy to work with. I do recommend this company and their product.

We just re-purchased an new one. We've had it since 2014. Never had a bit of trouble with it. Looking forward to receiving the new one and repairing the old one. This is a fantastic product I am almost speechless about it because of all of our friends we have the best icemaker. Model a 1-2 15SS. You stay up on the water and it will keep you in ice day after day.

Big shout out to Ingrid Ruiz. Very helpful and customer service and delightful to talk to. Troubleshooting our old icemaker that was purchased in 2014. We decided to re-purchase a new one and repaired the older one. This icemaker has been absolutely fantastic over the years. Model a 1-2 15SS. Cannot say enough about it. It can make up to 50 pounds of ice a day if you stay on top of it. My husband and I are very very happy. Out of all of our RV friends We have the best icemaker.

I use the ice maker when company comes or for large parties. What I like about it is the ice shape and amount of ice it produces, and it is portable and fits well in my wet bar space. However, I have had 3 units now and would highly recommend getting a warranty. My first unit last about 2 years, my second unit arrived defective. I was able to get a replacement; however, it did not last a year. I do not run the unit all the time, only when needed. Although disappointed, I have repurchased the same unit (with a warranty), because of the capacity, ice cube type, look of unit, and it fits perfectly in the space I have.

My kids use a lot of ice since they both play competitive sports. Our freezer could not keep up. This NewAir ice maker was very convenient and easy to use. It made more than enough ice for our family in such a small amount of time. After many uses, and about a year after owning the product, the metal started to oxidize in the machine. Newair customer service has been VERY responsive and VERY helpful in helping us get a replacement machine. I could not recommend them enough.

Like the icemaker works great until a plastic part broke but customer service has been great to work with to get a replacement parts.

I've been using this machine a couple times a weeks for about two months. The biggest perk for our family has been ease of use - dump a pitcher of water in, press the power button and wait a few minutes for the first batch to drop...that's it. The Newair fills our freezer bin in less than an hour and one pitcher is usually sufficient. The unit is audible, but not too loud, it doesn't alter conversation level and is about the same volume as the compressor on our refrigerator anyway. The design is nice and it is light enough to move around on the counter. The drain is located on the left side, and I usually slide the unit over to the edge of the counter, then remove the drain cap and drain the basin into a pitcher when not in use so the unit stays fresh and clean. I would have liked for the drain to have a ball valve possibly as I worry that over years of use the plastic cap and plug may wear down or become lost, but it is something I have been meaning to add anyway. Also, the lid could use a slightly more pronounced handle as every once in a while I will let the 1/4" wide handle tab slip and the lid slams down. Minor issues. Overall, the unit has worked great, and when we have contacted NewAir support with questions, they have replied promptly and helped us keep our unit running great. Hoping it lasts for years to come.

We do a lot of camping and fishing and we were constantly buying ice for our coolers. This machine is perfect as I had bought a small 5 cu-ft chest freezer and some 10 pound ice bags and now we bag our own and store for when we need it. I can fill my freezer up in days with this larger counter top machine. This machine has paid for itself a couple times. Did have a minor issue with the 1st one and the company had stepped up and sent me a new one out with in a few days. Now back in business of making ice.
