My Burr Grinder came from Heaven
Have been using refillable K cups for brewing since factory throw away pods expense out at a horrible 50 cents to 65 cents per one cup serving. However, store bought coffees for the refillables are too coarse a grind and the result is very weak. I use my Burr Grinder on the finest setting (espresso) and it works great for these refillable pods. Thank you Jardine !!!

Where did my coffee go?
I've had this unit for 3 years, and lately the INSIDE of the grinder has been filling up with grounds! Today I opened it up, and after just 3 days, over 1/2 cup of grounds filled the motor and circuitry.

          Broken Hopper
          I do NOT recommend this grinder. The PLASTIC neck of the bean hopper snaps off with just normal use and by "Normal Use" I mean grinding enough beans for 2 cups of coffee in the morning.. ONCE PER DAY... The company does NOT have replacement parts listed.

              Great but only lasted 3 months
              This was a Christmas gift 2016. Couldn't wait to use it. Awesome coffee grinder. Did my research on a burr can blade. Asked for a burr. But around the end of March first of April it stopped grinding. I would push button and it would grind for a sec or two then stop. Tried cleaning it. Air. Wiping it. It didn't help. Very sad now. Would have thought Mr Coffee would have lasted longer. Great 3 months tho!

                The bowl will snap off after about a month of use
                I had this just over a month and the hopper assembly which holds the beans snapped off. It is just glued on with a thin layer of glue. This is junk.

                    Used it for about a year. Would sometimes stop working but a cleaning would usually fix it. Not now. I tried everything in the service manual but nothing works. Tried the live chat but couldn't sign up. Guess it is scrap.

                      Grinds coffee well enough for our needs. Great to have a removable bin for the coffee and make making coffee in the a.m. easy. However this grinder is REALLY REALLY loud!! if we don't grind during the day or the evening before this grinder does a better job of waking the entire family up then the coffee does.

                          coffeemaker a winner -- burr grinder a big loser
                          Bought this as a companion to the 4-cup switch coffeemaker -- which I love by the way. The burr grinder is a different story however. I spent more time clearing the jammed up grinder than I did producing ground beans. Grind then freeze over and over again. After about an hour determined to make it work properly, I said "No more, back you go!" Return postage cost me $15. Forgot to mention, at the end of that frustrating hour, I had eked out about l and a half tablespoons of ground coffee. What a waste of time and money!

                            Smells and tastes like plastic
                            It smells like plastic and ruined my coffee beans. Washed all the parts again, let them soak in soapy water over night still tasted like plastic. Tried grinding coffee through it again, the smell is still there. Soaked the parts again and left them somewhat moist ground beans again let them set for three days with hopper full and coffee grinds in the barrel still didn't get rid of the smell. It has a great look and design. But if you cant use it what good is it?

                              I bought 2 grinders, one for myself and one for my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. Both families are pleased with this product.                               I have used this grinder for over 2 years without a fault until this AM when I was filling the hopper. The 2 parts separated and I ended up with beans every where and I used Mr Coffee's name in vain.
