Very good quality and a very good price. I have brought others that cost more and this one does the same job. I used it to grill some chicken halves and it gave precise temperature readings. The Maverick Digital Remote Thermometer with 2-High Heat Probes was great because I didn't have to be opening the lid to see the progress because it did the looking while I did the cooking. I would highly recommend it.

1st time ever using a thermometer, it worked great, I my 1st use was on a brisket and it was nice staying inside and knowing the themp inside my smoker

Not even close to the previous Maverick I owned. You have to take out batteries every time to get it to reset. Correctly registers temp. Starts at 172? You have to go over highest setting to get it back to 145. Alerts high low which is nice for chamber probe But cook probe need alert when food cooked Missing meat fast setting like old unit.

This thermometer from maverick is so great! I have had this for a couple of years. It just read the Christmas ham from a rear building into our pour home to the remote! Was so awesome! Longevity and durability with the range! Thanks Maverick! Leave it in! Wireless is the way!

It works perfectly. Much less time spent outside in the heat cooking by the smoker. My brisket came out perfect.

Lasted about 2 months!! Worked ok for a month then started acting wacky bow neither will turn on with Brand new batteries.

I have used this on a Weber Kettle with the Slow N Sear for about 20 smokes. I have used it for everything from chicken breast to a full packer brisket. I run the cables for the probes under the lid with no issue. The temperature is accurate. I probably have 120 hours or so on it and have not had to change either battery yet. These thermometers are primarily for smoking in the 225-275 range and roasting at around 325. Please don't stick the probe in a 700 degree sear zone and post a negative review when the cables melt. These aren't really designed to go over 450 degrees or so. Use it within its limits and it will serve you well. The signal range on the receiver works well, I can be up on the third floor of my house and it still functions fine. The only grip I have is the on/off/sync button being hit too long by mistake can sometimes lead to the receiver accidentally searching for a sync, which will require you to go outside and hit the sync button on the transmitter on the grill. It is a minor annoyance and one that does not happen too frequently, but having the sync button on the receiver be separate from the power button would have made a lot of sense. Overall its a great value. There are better and more durable thermometers out there I am sure, but for smoking meat in the back yard it is a godsend for the price.

Worked great for bout 3 hours but second probe had issues then eventually went out completely.

Arrived very quickly. Have not used it yet but looks very well made.

Works great for both my grill and my smoker. No undercooking or overcooking again. Can set a temperature and know when it is done.

Worked exactly as it said. My BBQ endeavors have been a success since it arrived.

Works really good, some settings can be a little confusing, but overall it works perfect for my smoker/grilling!!!

Worked perfectly. Very easy to use. The probe cords are plenty long enough to move unit from lid of grill. I hang mine on the lid to the side burner.

So sorry I love the purchase but have used it a lot since Xmas.

Bought this hoping it works cause it was cheaper than other brands. Brought it home and right away my grill probe was defective or extremely inaccurate. I exchanged it for another one and within 2 months the grill probe is once again out to lunch. I compared it to the dome thermometer and other probe and it was approximately 100 degrees off. I’ll be returning this and getting something else.

The user interface is not very intuitive or user friendly, which should not be the case for a process as simple as monitoring temperature. I ended up returning it and purchasing another brand that was a little more expensive, but much more intuitive and well worth the price.

Easy to use, and convenient having two probes, but the temperatures are complete rubbish. Usually reads about 50% higher than my Javelin Pro (290C vs 190C). Food takes 2-3 times longer to cook if you follow the BBQ probe's temperature because you practically have to turn the BBQ off.

I own a Sur la Table branded version of this grilling thermometer set for my smoker to replace a previous Maverick-branded model that frequently dropped connection due to insufficient range. This unit makes a much more reliable connection. The only drawback is that the probe cables are very short, requiring the unit to be within about 2 feet of my smoker; would love it if the probes were an additional 1-2 feet in length.

Worked as expected and for a great price. Will definitely purchase again and the delivery time was as promised.

Only used it a few times but has worked exactly as I hoped it would.

Bought for my smoker. While it was working it was great. Then the receiver quit working. Researched and Maverick just says it is not repairable. I'll but another one but NOT this one. Waste of money in the end.

I've used this twice now and the temps of the smoker and the meat are all over the place. This is not very reliable in any way. I will return this tomorrow and try the Weber igrill instead. Save your $$

Awsome product, worked just as I expected

Now I'm able to monitor the cooking temperature and the food temperature at the same time whether I'm standing next to my grill or away from it. The displays are large enough to easily read and the remote unit will fit in a shirt pocket or can be placed on the counter or table
