Great product works great and easy to set up

Connecting to the electric smoker is a real hassle and not well engineered. I can't tell you if this smoker unit works well since I haven't used it. However, The electric smoker I purchased shouldn't need an additional smoker unit but it does because the little builtin smoker is essentially useless. Overall I am disappointed in this purchase because I had to purchase the additional smoker unit and it is difficult to connect. Try another product that is actually a smoker as advertised without having to buy the smoker. I already have an electric oven. What I wanted was an electric smoker!

The tube that feeds chips get coated with creosote during each use and must be thoroughly cleaned or it won't work. Keep a long stick handy when using because the chips get stuck in the feeder half way through your smoke. When working it smokes like crazy.

Slow to warm up and doesn't produce a lot of smoke. Good heat regulation, but cooks food...doesn't smoke it.

We Love our new Masterbuilt smoker and cold smoker. We have had some awsome chicken so far... and ... ribs... yum, can't wait to try smoked cheese and salmon

Nice Little Smoker

This product is part of a system and does not work without the other parts. The company should note that in their documentation. The directions should also tell you which models of smokers that this unit can be attached to without you having to call customer service. Great idea and concept, just needs more documentation to help with your choice.

Makes tons of smoke with no added heat. Took about 10 min to install on Cajun Injector Smoker. Works great. Made another mounting hook makes it a lot tighter fit.

Hard to keep it producing smoke, have to stir things up at least every half hour. I bought it with the idea that I would be able to set it and forget it for a few hours at least, but that is not the case.

Smoker was easy to set up and season. First meal was delicious and only wanted me to smoke more. It will get a workout this summer. Glad I made this purchase.

Starts smoking right away. Works great! Ive done salmon and a few cheeses in the last two weeks. Turned out very nice.

Easy to assemble the few parts. Does what the description says it will do. Creates a lot of smoke for low temp smoking.

Excellent product!also bought the cold smoker attachment. Made cold smoked salmon works great

This little add on to my master built electric smoke allowed me to sleep while cooking a 20 hour pork but

The on/off switch was bent when I opened the box and the outside cabinet lid had scratches.

Product is well-built and performs as expected. The only problem is that once you add this, you will likely need to order a bigger cover if you keep your smoker outside like I do.

Works perfectly, and is fun to use. Smoking cheese is amazing.

This is used to cold smoking meats and cheeses as well as vegetables. It is a perfect addition to my smoker and I would recommend it to anyone who loves that smoke flavor with out having to cook your foods, like sausage that can then be stored until ready to use and have the smoke flavor you love. I am completely satisfied with this product!

I have had two of these burn out on me. Integrity is not good. Parts hard to or impossible to find. Has poor air circulation. Builds up moisture inside creating sticky tar in chip chute causing chips to dam up and stick. Pungent sour smoke. It needs a chimney down the center of the chips so they can breath and draw better. I have used many wood types all very dry at start. A "weekender" should easily get more than a year out of these units. The Masterbuilt smoker is useless in the summer without them though because once gets up to temperature, burner shuts down and so does the smoke. Cold smoke generator choices are few so not sure what the right answer is.

This is an outstanding add on for the Masterbuilt electric smoker!.... I wasn't fond of having to add wood chips every hour, so I bought this and it is THE BEST accessory for the smoker you can get!............ one drawback is that I purchased a Masterbuilt stand to raise the smoker up and make it easier to tend (I'm tall), and the stand doesn't have space for the Slow Smoker, so I had to buy a second stand which looks kind of funny........... This product however is GREAT!!!

When it is making smoke it works great. The wood chamber clogs up. You have to tend to moving the chips around so it feeds to the bottom. I called their customer service line and was told yes it clogs up and it needs to be watched. They make it sound like you fill it up and do not need to do anything further. I might suggest a small fan or air pump to help the draw to the smoking box. Redesign the chip box to lessen the clog up. Between stirring the chip box it does make smoke..Hope they find a fix.

Easy to put together. Does a great job. Now a complete smoked cheese addict!!!! Easy to connect to the Masterbuilt Smoker, IF you have small hands. Suggestion. An optional funnel for loading chips into the slow smoker. Once again, small hands have it much easier.

Have used it several times and it works great. I am not a huge fan of the manual chip loader so I bought the cold smoker attachment that hooks in where the manual handle goes and allows you to add chips and smoke unattended for many hours. works great! Once the cold smoker attachment is installed the actual smoker cover will not fit so be aware of that. Both the smoker and the cold smoker require AC so that is two plugs required. the build in timer, temp control, and thermometer seem to work great. So does the remote control. If you had AC available you could easily take it places. its not super heavy and actually has little wheels on it so you can kind of roll it around. so far so good but its relatively new.

Easy to assemble, performed as expected after break in was complete.
