Fortunately I was able to use the existing track and only use the new seal. I previously bought a replacement seal made by the same company but couldn’t feed it through. The rubber that fed through the track was slightly too wide. They should package and you should carry same

Easy to install, worked well.

My neighbor has worked with it for many hours and my garage door is completely sealed from the mice. This order arrived earlier and I thank you for that. He had to work many hours because there was something wrong with my garage door system. Thank you.

Couldn't find the original seal type for my door, so removed the metal rail and remnants of the old seal and replaced with this rail set. The self tapping screws worked well. The only thing is I needed a helper to help feed the seal at one end as I pulled it through the length of the rails. The bottom of my door now has a perfect seal even though the floor is about 3/4" lower in the middle then the sides.

So far so good. Not easy to install on our garage door. Had to use 2" drywall screws instead of the ones that came in the package because the bottom of our garage door has an indentation along the full length of the door. Despite the extra long screws, we wished we also bought glue such as the external GOOP glue to attach the track to the door more securely.

an easy fix for an old garage door. didnt not have to remove the door, i just peeled away the old rubber and mounted this directly on the old seals mounting plate. very easy

Ease to put together.

A little cheaper than the original clopay product but got the job done

Went to replaced the one on my garage door and was surprised to find out it was the original from when the house was build 25 years ago. It did not have a channel and the seal was screwed in to the bottom of the door. Found this at home depot and gave it a try. Layed everything out and measured, cut and install. Took me about an hour to install, used clamps to hold the rail in place while i screwed it on the bottom of the door. Slide one side of the rubber T piece in the channel and used a flat head screw driver to pop in the other side on to the channel. Since it was new the rubber seal slide through with no issues. This was the easiest way to install the seal if you are doing it solo, if you have help, you can slide it in both channels with no issues. One to pull it, and one to hold the other end and feed it through.

to assure ordering the right product - I went to HD - talked to rep. NOT looking for sectional pieces. we both thought we were ordering 1 18' 0" garage door sweep. it came in 4 pieces - I sent it back.

If your garage door does not have a track for the seal, this is a universal fit. Although, I had to cut a bit of length out for perfect fit. It does require the use of provided self tapping screws, so it is a "permanent" solution. Works well, easy install if you have a helper to hold the track while you attach with screws. Seal seems like it will hold up well and track is aluminum (no rust).
