I’ve tried to use it twice and both times gas pours from the carburetor causing it to not start.

Took a while but customer service took care of me and I was very pleased. Maybe a 1/2 quart of gear oil leaked inside box but was not a problem. I used a grinder to zip apart the steel crate and a tire jack to raise it and put on wheels. Assembly otherwise was very easy. Machine started right up and took it for a spin. Gear shifting was stiff but everything worked. The capacity to work with offset handles and not compress the bed is great. Changing rotation of tines is desirable. Stalling the tines makes transportation feel safer including walking it up a ramp into the pickup. (Not recommended). The paint and the welds seems thorough and professional. I will update if it doesn't perform well in the future.

RTG tiller has 2 forward speeds and reverse and has dual rotation of tines and they can stall if you need to have wheels only drive it. This is not the lighter RT model that only has counter rotating tines. Went together easily. Used a grinder to open the metal framing. Some gear oil was spilled inside. Directions said it was shipped w/o gear oil. Not a big deal. Started right up and ran good. Shifts with effort. But I expected that. I really like the offset handles. Thinking about how to modify and add a furrower.

I have not had a chance to put it together yet. It took three months, several calls and finally a letter to the home office to get the product

Great machine, just a bit hard for my 5'2" wife to use.

Pain to get out of the crate. Easy to put together. Works good

I bought this for my daughter and grandchildren to till their garden. After assembly and testing, I have chosen not to give it to them. It it very difficult to control and can get away from operator quickly. I can't believe it has not been recalled for safety purposes. The rear tines spin way to fast for controlled tillage

poorly designed, tiller feels cheap despite how heavy it is. completely different than the provided assembly instructions

It took me about 2 hours to assemble alone with the help of my son to get me through the unboxing, easy to assemble with directions included but I used the BILT app and was amazed how easy to follow and thorough the instructional video was

I ordered the Champion Rear Tine Tiller but they sent me this Legend Force stating they ran out of the Champion and it was a take it or leave it situation so I took the Legend. Very difficult to put together, you will need at least 2 people to do it as it comes in a crate that the main portion has to be unbolted and lifted out of. After putting it together it has a leak somewhere in the front of it but we cannot find where it's leaking out of, only that we have oil stains under it everywhere we park it. Do not recommend.

These instructions were for the wrong tiller. I scanned the QR from the easy instruction page and it sent the newer model, which has different handle, and manual transmission. Guess I will YouTube it, as per normal.

After 5 months, shipped twice, still haven't received. Now out if stock. I'm thinking Homedepot.com scammed me. Just can't trust to order from Homedepot.com.

This product is a beast that will not disappoint. It has an easy-adjust handle height, and easy-adjust left or right handle angle for walking on the side while it goes straight. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE THRU HOME DEPOT. TERRIBLE ORDERING...GET IT FROM A STORE!

I did not put together right away since we have been in a drought. About 2 weeks ago I completed assembly and went to crank the machine. The entire pull start system came apart from the motor and it housing. It appears it was never attached at the factory. Unspooled everywhere inside the housing. I have been trying to call all day. This is important to note since it does appear that Legend Force at least answers reviews. They tell people to call and reference a service number. That does no good if you cannot actually get through to someone. I knew better than to make the purchase. Was just too cheap not to try. If you have read the reviews you know HD won't take it back.

First off some of these reviews are hilarious. -Packaging is fine, yeah box was beat but its shipping inside a metal cage. - assembly was easy 30min - had to add gear oil (was low) -1 pull start - ripped an August grass field no problem -gears somewhat difficult to shift but they got easier after use. Definitely recommend this. Ignore the stupid baby reviews of people crying over dumb sh\%.

This is a big machine, not meant to turn in small spaces. I haven’t run it but I’ll update later.

Tiller leaked Transmission fluid while still in box. I put gas into machine to start it for the first time and leaked fuel. Terrible! Junk! Do not purchase, definately not worth $600 MSRP......Maybe worth $50 at best. Stay away

It took a very long time coming in. It look like it was just pushed off the truck and left where it was and had oil all over the box . It was easy to put together but I haven’t played with it yet since the long delay it’s way to cold to want to try and use it.

Two speeds forward, one speed reverse, iron/steel gearbox, tines switchable rotation - heavy, steady, strong. Literally the only complaint is that the handles come from the factory slightly bent. The gearbox has a breather tube that will leak gear oil if you put the tiller up on its nose. Besides that, I'm thrilled with the purchase.

Missing parts, broken, showed up two months late. Called the store and they will not help

It worked about 15 minutes before the reverse sounded like grinding transmission. Also, whatever happened made it stuck in forward so that even when it was started it took off and could get away from you. Called Legend Force warranty and they took a message, created a claim, captured your phone number so that when you call back they will never answer the phone again (and do NOT return calls when you leave a message)
