The tiller I received at the store pickup was very rusty. Pitted rust, not light surface rust. They leave the units outside. I was hoping for one in the box but I received their floor model. I brought it up to customer service but they just looked at me with no response.

Don’t waste your time on this piece of junk. You’d think spending $700 on a tiller that it would work. Got it out of the box and it had fluid all over. Only starts on choke. Will not run off choke and surges before it suddenly dies. I tried to till with it but it doesn’t idle high enough to till. It just bogs down.

So far this rear tine tiller is working awesome. I love the counter-rotating tine and the two speed forward options. The engine runs great. I was even able to mount an aftermarket furrower attachment with a couple of modifications to the depth drag bar.

I received my Rototiller from Home Depot online. Everything was top notch and first class, until I unboxed the tiller, it is covered in rust, and when I went to the store to switch it out, their stock was covered in rust as well. The manufacture has a problem and needs to address, the issue, These units look like they’re shipping from manufacturing in snow country because you see a layer of salt remnants as well and that’s probably where the rest is coming in to play, but they’re shipping these out to customers In the shape. Very disappointing and a complete waste of my time.

Picked it up used from the original buyer who used it to till his small front lawn.needed the air filter cleaned, a few loose nuts/bolts tightened and started right up. runs great. lubed the axel and pins with grease. checked the air pressure in the tires, changed the oil and gear lube and a light cleaning and it looks and runs like new. don’t care for the safety leavers, disengaging the tires to transport vs a neutral gear is one less thing to break or go wrong

Tiller showed up without depth regulator. Tiller as also shipped with transmission fluid filler not tight and secured. This resulted in transmission fluid covering entire tiller and my garage floor.

The left wheel bent the first time I used the tiller. I wasn't using it on any rough terrain, just a flat 1 acre field. I wouldn't bother wasting your time buying this tiller.

I have completed the assembly. But it could not be used because the gasoline leaked out and the machine did not work

Thing is a BEAST! Love it!

Took 5 weeks to deliver. I open up the box and find the whole engine covered in oil and leaking all over my garage. Stained floor. Entire engine dripping with oil. I do not believe this to be shipping damage as it was sent from the store/facility with oil in it. Paperwork specifically states it is not shipped with oil in it. Will not run. Do not buy. Cant return to store because its over 200 lbs so I cant lift into my car and also do not want oil all over my car. Wish I could get a refund.

First time using it, had to adjust the carburetor, tine broke after about an hour of use. Cheaply welded.

Assembled, added fluids, opened fuel valve and choked per instructions. Pulled and pulled without starting. Sprayed starting fluid into intake, pulled and it started and ran for 3 seconds. Removed 10mm drain plug from carb and gas came out; obviously carb issues; removed it and opened bowl. FILTHY!!! B-12 CHEMTOOL (& cotton swab) TO THE RESCUE! Reassembled, refueled, and started right up. Tested all gears, but haven't tilled as yet. (p.s. disappointed no parts list or IPB in manual.)

The handle is welded on crooked. Otherwise, this unit seems to work ok.

I bought this a couple months ago and have never been able to use it. Assembly was straight forward. Runs good but. When I took both wheels out of the crate and tried to air them up the tubes in both tires were both bad. Went to customer service at hd and was told to call legend force customer service. Having called three times and not getting any response from the manufacturer. Very disappointed.

The tiller arrived upside down with oil (LOTS of it) leaking out of the box. Home Depot did compensate me for this. However, the handle bars are welded at an angle and are not straight. Pulsar Products Inc. (maker of Legend Force / BILT tillers) assured me they would send a new set, but months later, I am still waiting. So, issues and a lack of integrity. So hard to find people / companies that stand behind their actions / products.

Overall great tiller i can’t believe i got it on sale. It going do wonders in are garden

Ordered online and arrived at store in promised time. Read some other reviews criticizing metal crate within the box. It is sharp so beware. Best to cut it out of the way with saws all. Once assembled it started second pull. Runs strong and tills good but need to take some time to learn controls. Overall initial experience is good. Hope it lasts as long as my last tiller I bought in 1998!

Clutch Lock is so sharp it pierced my hand . not plowing the soil as I expected ,

Easy assembly, took bout 30 minutes no instructions needed. Starts first pull every time by using choke. Changing gears are clunky but get better after time, (wearing in I guess) 1 pass my garden was ready to plant, however I did 2 passes.. absolutely a work horse and a great value sofar...

I have had it nearly a year (5/24/22)-(5/04/23). It is a tough tiller and does a great job. Weather breaking new ground or old it is great. I have one tine broke today and another close to breaking from rocks wedging against the housing, but I am not having any luck finding replacement tines. 😏

I quickly tilled and furrowed a brand new 35x20 garden. The tiller worked great at tilling and even spitting out huge rocks out of the ground and just chopped through roots. The furrow option was the icing on the cake and was a pleasant surprise. I did do one pass and then raked off the grass clumps and then tilled the remaining. For the price and quality it was well worth it. I will say that the shifters are very tight and take some force to move.

The bolts are stripping and need new bolts and the little red thing to make it go.

This tiller is a beast, tilled up new ground very nice, comfortable to handle,the pivet handles to walk alongside as to not compact the soil great feature

This Rear tiller makes it easier to work. With the tiller in the back you have more control if you are senior or not as strong to control the ones with the tiller in the front that seems to go all over the place unless you can put all your strength ALL the time. This one is VERY different and a WHOLE lot easier to work and good your area looking GREAT.

tilled my garden with no issues. tilled as deep when i set it to till deep and shallow when i had it set to shallow. took me about 30 minutes to unpack and assemble. but its not my first tiller to assemble. fired up on first pull. easy to control my15 year old son did half of our 90'x 180' plot with no trouble. i like that it does the tilling with a low rpm. seems good on fuel. i really have no issues

It works really well. Rips up vines and all. Depending on the setting, it has no problems getting deep.

Once we got it running it tilled okay. Inner tubes stems were broken. Had to buy new inner tubes. They were very hard to install. The machine squeals like crazy. Don't know what is causing this. Any suggestions?

Bought 8-16-21. Tried to tilled ground for fall couldn't finish because of the gears. Tried all sequences but couldn't get it to operate properly, gave up! Tried 4/6/21 and 4/19/21 no luck, gears don't work. Also both tires sheared off valve stems. Hubs are bolted together and if the tires get stuck the hubs turn shearing off the stems. Wanted a rear tine tiller for a long time but this one didn't work out. Trying to return for refund.

I was skeptical to purchase based on reviews, glad I didn't go off of those. This machine works great. Instructions are super simple, especially if you use the 3D ones that basically give a tutorial. The machine comes with everything but gas. It's not a fast machine, it's not built to race but for the price, this machine did AMAZING.
