Once the instructions were going, it appeared to be a smooth process, but it started to describe another piece of equipment assembly half way through. It was obvious the rest of the steps but still wrong.

Will only work when choke is on.

First issue is that the rear tines are not tight on the shafts which is causing the shaft to mis-shape how the tines connect to the shafts. It’s hard to explain. Second issue is that the gearbox seeps oil. Third issue is that this things slings dirt all over the engine. Not just a little dirt, a bunch of dirt. It completely covers the engine. I’ve attempted the customer service number that they supplied in these reviews and I can not get anyone on the phone. You sit for a long time on hold until it asks for a voice mail and hangs up.

This is a great machine! Easy to operate and does a great job tilling the soil! Great addition to the family.

Ordered this tiller at the end of planting season so I just put box in my barn. Opened it up this spring and it was missing the depth gage. Because I ordered it online I only have the price I paid for it not a recipe in my homedepot account. Going back and forth between pulsar and homedepot I'm gonna just take it as a loss. Always open right away is the take away here.

At this time I would not recommend this product as the right tine did not slide on to the axel.

Gas comes out carburetor. Tiller does not start. Have not used tiller yet.

Junk would give a zero if I could. Purchased the end of summer, wasn't delivered until late November, finally put it together this spring and it would not start. Received an email from the manufacturer's representative who said to tear off the carburetor. This was a brand new unit that had never touched the soil, less than a year old, still under warranty, and I was expected to tear off the carburetor? A frustrating piece of equipment with absolutely no manufacturer support.

Had to return because gear box was to hard to shift. Bad design. Otherwise it's great.

Got it home. Checked engine, transmission oil and filled it up with gas. Tried to crank it til I got blisters on my fingers. Pulled the plug checked for fire. Pulled on the cord with plug out. What appeared to be water came out. Pulled bolt from carb. Everything was good. Just about the time it bumped over the pull cord broke. Needless to say I was pretty ticked. On a good note once you figure out which tilling depth is suitable this thing makes quick work. I’m gonna try it again to see how easy it is to crank.

Pretty good Machine so far. Especially after I realized that the clutch on the handle bar controls the speed. Slowly press the clutch and the machine slowly engages. The further you press the clutch the faster the wheels and tines rotate. And, there are 2 speed settings on the transmission.

Cuts that ground up in no time. Make sure to wear safety glasses as this machine plows and throws the dirt. Start up is a dream best tiller I have ever owned

This tiller works well but has 1 major problem. It eats the drive belt like candy . I have owned this for over a year and have had to replace the drive belt at least 5 times and have to change again now. The soil that is being worked his an old garden spot that is fairly lite soil. When it works it does a good job

It seriously needs a blade in neutral gear. If the tiller forward or reverse gear is engaged the blade turns.

Was easy to assemble even with 1 person, started right up and this thing digs great would recommend to anyone

The clutch lever was broken right out of the box. I had to use pipe clamps to attach it to the handle. I maybe got two uses out of it before the shifter lever broke off, so it was just stuck in forward for the next two uses. I tried using it the fifth time and now it has zero power. The blades turn until it meets the soil, then it stops. I was trying to save a little bit of money, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Back in July of 2023, I ordered a Champion 19" rear tine tiller which was marked way down, three months later, I still did not have the tiller, so I arranged to get this Legend Force Model # LF20212RT instead for even money. Not a bad deal I figured looking at the price of this one. Turns out to not be such a great deal! I finally put it together a week ago and did some tilling in the garden, turning leaves into the soil. This thing says it is self-propelled, but, if I want it to go forward while tilling, I need to lift up the rear and give it a shove. The wheels turn, but they never grab onto the dirt to pull itself forward. Sometimes, I need to reverse it a bit, then get a run to continue forward. Really wears a body out. Maybe it would work better in a lighter soil? It starts and runs pretty good and just sips gas, but it will make you sleep well at night! I plan to sell it cheap and get a better tiller!
