This machine is now 11 months old. I've had more then 8 service visits over the past year for the same problem. It takes 2-3 weeks to even get a tech visit scheduled. 3 different technicians (every single one who saw it) say it is not repairable and should be replaced by LG. Well, I have all the documents but LG isn't honoring their warranty! LG has access to the service repair companies documentation. I've been dealing with LG directly since the problem started because it was a new machine. I will never buy another LG product.

Purchased both the washer and dryer together. I can sit two feet away from both when they’re running and still take conference calls without disruption. Very silent, best purchase we’ve made for the house.

Purchase the LG dryer on Friday January the 25th and I love it I would recommend this dryer it is so quite when you are drying clothes I find that it takes no time for your clothes to dry you do not have to restart it to dry your clothes and I love the wrinkle free cycle that it has

So far so good. I like everything about it. I hooked up the steam option on the dryer, even though I was thinking "Why do you need steam in something that you are trying to dry". It didn't take long and I found myself using it on some clothes that were left in there overnight after drying. It will moisten then just enough to freshen them back up.

Love this dryer and the matching washing machine, too. So many functional features.

Love it!!!! Washing clothing is a breeze. I set it, it weighs it, times it and washes quickly. With a normal setting, the spin is awesome! Cuts down on drying time. The dryer is super!. Compared to my previous dryer, it dries quickly (surprised me), has fewer wrinkles, softer to touch. Love them!!!

It is probably bigger than the three of us need but is so cool that I can get the washing and drying done in half the time.

Best dryer I’ve ever owned!

Have only had the set for about a month but I love it so far. Only complaint would be the odor that’s present if you leave wash in the washer for too long. The dryer is awesome. No complaints. Very quiet!

The washer is good but the dryer takes FOREVER!

I have the LG Washer and love it, so I had thought this would be the same quality. As with other reviews, I am finding clothes are still damp at the end of the cycle. A comforter is "bulky" and towels are cotton right? I find the settings confusing. What I do enjoy is the steam feature. The part that really concerns me, I have been using about a month now, it that it catches my "delicates" on the lint screen and thus twists them to death. Never seen a dryer do that before. It also has sucked the dryer sheets up against the lint screen and stuck them there. I couldn't believe it! I peeled 4 of them off yesterday. I can't believe I didn't get a vent clog error. I have no idea how long they were stuck there. I clean the lint screen every load, who would look there? I stuck my head into the machine to see what the heck else was in there. I do not use off brand softener sheets. The plastic screen seems to have a uneven surface on it and I don't know if that is normal or not. But what is not normal is ruining clothing. Definitely does not meet my LG expectations.

Worst mistake I believe I have ever made. Dryer is two months old. Contacting customer service from LG? What a joke ! FINALLY got a repair guy to come out after a week, dryer worked for three loads, then quit again. Same issue, heating element went out. Contacted the "wonderful" customer service again, and again, and again. Maybe this time around, they will fix it. Doubt it !!

Some features I thought I'd never use but I'm surprised that after a year of use there are few that I have not used. I love the printed manual, also, so many items have gone to pdf only manuals. It's nice to have a quick chart for all the different wash cycles. I only wish the washer and dryer had different "ringtones" so I could easily tell which device was paging me.

Dryer delivered with a broken door switch. Dryer would only operate if I held the door tightly closed. I don't want to hold the door closed the entire time my clothes are drying. Dryer stopped drying after 10 minutes, because of a warning saying vent was blocked. The vent was not blocked! I discover the sensor senses temperature not lint. It only drys clothes on the low setting. LG told me they would send out a repair man, but I had to get Home Depot to unstack the dryer. I just want Home Depot to pick up the dryer and give me a different brand that works when delivered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I bought this about 2 months ago and saying I love this dryer is an understatement! It has so many features including a steam feature and a freshen up option. I can say that I use these 2 the most. It has sensors that can save so much time! I've even tested it and set the timer for an hour for dry clothes and it shut it off within 3 minutes. Great energy saver! It's also huge. Holds lots of stuff and has a ton of other stuff. You just have to get one and experience the awesomeness.
