Refrigerator was delivered and expertly installed. Door in door is a feature that wows family and friends. Side by side doors have more than enough room to store all goods. Looks great and works great. Had it for over a month now and very satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this not long ago. We love the fridge, and have really enjoyed the large capacity filtered water area. However, I wish the bottom had rollers, because the installers had issues with the feet catching and tearing my kitchen floor.

It's about 4 years old and the compressor had to be replaced. We found out there's a class action lawsuit on the linear compressors. LG had a repair guy come fix it under warranty. Of course about $200 of food was spoiled in the meantime. But, now it looks like the defrosting mechanism is broken. We bought a used fridge for the garage specifically because of this one's unreliability. Also, there are only 2 repair guys that can work on this in the Austin area. So, the wait is long. Before buying a large appliance I'm going to find out the repair options first. Lastly, the water dispensor is not intuitive. Everyone that comes over spills water on the floor. Other those things, it's a great fridge.

Had this refrigerator for over a year and it works fine but the dark stainless steel finish is peeling, see attached photos, looks like it will get worse as time goes, is there a recall on this refrigerator to correct this issue?

We purchased this LG Fridge less than 3 years ago. Ice maker stopped working 2 weeks ago, and yesterday the freezer started to thaw hundreds of dollars worth of meat, fish and chicken. Today the fridge stopped cooling! Had the tech out and he said the compressor is shot! I called LG and they said the compressor is under warranty! Hallelujah not! They'll replace the compressor but the labor to install it is 600.00. They don't warrant the Ice Maker! I will never buy LG again!!!

We got this refrigerator about 4 weeks ago. We love the door in door feature and all the room this refrigerator has. Also this fridge is super quiet in our open concept home so I never hear anything.

My Compressor went on my door in a door Lg I been out of having a refrigerator for almost 2 weeks for a repair man to come from LG! I lost $500 worth of food, they have not done anything to help me out. Being left with no fridge going on 2 weeks with two 6yr old daughters living out of a cooler from a $1700 REFRIGERATOR. DO NOT BY LG DO MOT BY LG THEY DO NOT STAND BY ANYTHING THEY SAY. They change my repair time 5 times in 20mins from being 2 Days out to being 2 weeks!!!!!

The compressor went out after only 3 years. Replacing it would cost more than a new refrigerator. Buying the extended warranty was worthless. I will never buy another LG. I should not have to be buying 2 refrigerators in 3 years. LG, you can do better than this. Loved the door within the door. It was a great feature, especially if you have kids who get drinks multiple times a day. I hate that the quality of the components of this refrigerator was so poor that it did not last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] .. that, in fact, was replaced today (6/20/19) with a brand new unit. Thank you Best Buy! Anyway, the problem was that the sharkbite fittings where leaking water during the night (while making ice), which, unfortunately, damaged a portion of bamboo cork floor in the kitchen. In fact, the refrigerator is on its way back now to LG for problem determination / analysis. Note that since my wife and I really do like this refrigerator, we decided to have it replaced with a brand new unit of the same model. Also we would have given it a 5-star rating (instead of 3) if only it hadn't leaked water and damaged our kitchen floor. See attached photos.

No need to open the entire fridge to get your favorite sodas, milk, cheeses, or beer! Somebody had their thinking cap on at LG. Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] if you are putting in gal containers,you lose a shelf . The power cord is on top not on the back,had to cut some of the cabinet to fit there is no place in door for a butter dish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought frig 06/2017. 02/2018 a sensor in the ice maker broke causing $20K+ damage to my home after the frig kept trying to make ice for 7 hours in the middle of the night. The water started poor out the front of the frig and we had water damage to 6 rooms in our home. LG repaired frig and insurance company paid for all the repairs. Now...03/19 the frig stops cooling. Ice melt in the frig leaks out the front and causes damage again! I have to throw away a ton of food. LG does not have a diagnostic person near my home so they force you to wait for repairs and send parts to your home. Funny thing...how do they know what parts to send when it hasn't been inspected by a service tech. AND...they force you to pay the difference in cost. WTH...my frig isn't even 2 years old. This frig is a lemon...don't buy it.

The compressor went out after two years. The manufacturer stated that their warranty is only 1 year. Luckily, we have a home warranty service plan. Three techs have been out trying to fix the compressor to no avail. It is a known issue. Replacing it today with a different make. There was a class action suit against LG. Just Google it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our LG side by side a couple of weeks ago. (ModelLSXS26366D) We really like the “Grab-N-Go” door. It’s nice to have the items you use a lot right in front of you at or just above waist level. Also we really like the ‘Black Stainless “ finish. We also enjoy having the ice maker and water dispenser. I did however think the water filter would make the water taste more like bottled water. Finally, the extra space in the refrigerator and freezer is nice to have also. Very happy with this purchase.

The inside is roomy with movable shelves. The freezer has 2 bins and movable shelving also. It runs quiet. This is the first major appliance I've bought in over 10 years and I'm glad I chose this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchase our new home and were in need of a refrigerator. Having had LG appliances in our recently sold home, I knew that if I finally decided on LG, I would be happy with that decision. It was a toss up between LG and another brand. We decided on the LG, and a side by side at that. The added feature of the door-in-door was a nice bonus. We couldn't be happier with the decision we made! It's much bigger than the french door design we had. The LG is 26 cubic feet, so it also held more than our old refrigerator did. And the fact that there is no bulky, troublesome bottom freezer to open and dig through to find what you need, is a big hit with me. It runs quietly, and makes crushed/cubed ice quickly. The stainless steel is easy to clean with a light mist of water and a microfiber towel. The veggie drawers are deep and hold plenty of fresh produce and other items. As for the freezer side, since the ice container is on the door of the freezer, there are not many shelves available. The few that are there fit our needs, plus the two large drawers at the bottom hold many of the items that the shelves would have held, with space to spare! There are two negatives on this appliance, and this is the reason I gave it only four stars on the "features" section below. It is the lack of a meat/dairy drawer and lack of space on the door itself. To solve the meat/dairy drawer issue I purchased two clear, refrigerator baskets to put my lunch meats, dairy, and cheeses into. they fit where a meat/dairy drawer would have been anyway. As for the lack of space on the door, I compromised on what daily things we get from the frig and only use one of the large trays for bottled drinks. The other two trays make up for the lack of door shelves. All in all, I would highly recommend this refrigerator!

bad compressors, only last 2 years if not less. the tech has came to my house 3 times and couldnt fix it. lg deals with unprofessional shops as their authorized repairman and very slow process a month and a week and i have no fridge .

Bought it about 6 months ago. The dispensers where you press your cup for water and ice are SLICK metal pieces and they are ROUNDED OUT, not rounded with the shape of a cup. So, when you press your cup forward for water, your cup easily slips away, causing water to hit you or the floor. A mess! This happens several times a day, with kids and adults alike. Same thing with the ice dispenser but not as bad. Very frustrating since we use these features many times a day! I'm constantly cleaning up after splashed water. I guess the best remedy is to find a rubber adhesive pad I can adhere to the dispenser where we place our cups, to minimize the slipping of cups and spilling of water. We like everything else about this Fridge so it's too bad that the features we use most often are poorly designed. Only reason that i would not recommend this item.

I bought this model on a Memorial Day Sale 2018 along with a stove & microwave from LG. The product arrived with uneven door handles, and I noticed the temp was definitely not as cold as my old refrigerator even though the temp was set at the lowest setting, 33 degrees. LG replaced the fridge with in a week, The second fridge arrived and it had a dent, the top part of the molding by the door in door was bowed . Ordered a Third time. Again all our food out , had not shopped in weeks waiting for a new fridge, taking time off work, etc. Third arrival I rejected as this time we decided to look at it before it even got off the delivery truck. Again, a huge dent, the bowed molding up top was even worse so we rejected that one. Still having the 2nd fridge, I decided to take the internal fridge temp as this also was not cold enough. I took a the temp with two thermometers, one digital I use for liquids in the door and door and one a fridge thermometer for inside. The door in door was reading 42.6F ( unsafe above 40 )and the fridge itself was 36.4 F, again at the lowest setting possible set by LG 33 degrees. I called LG, they told me to unplug and reset , still not cold enough. Then I notice an arbitration notice to customers inside the fridge? Why would you have this unless there are issues? So after all this, time off for deliveries, varies other issues I did not mention, I returned the fridge and chose a newer LG model with out the door and door feature, ,with a newer compressor. I have to say Home Depot and the delivery service was exceptional during this entire time and LG also had great customer service in the end. I was told repeatedly that they do not have these issue and it is rare by both Home Depot and LG. I will let you decide. I took some pictures today. Door has not been opened all night.

Excellent product for the price and fits in very small kitchen beautifully. I love it!
