    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would love to know how my fridge knew exactly when the warranty ended before one of it's components failed. It's a lovely refridgerator. Big and roomy. Keeps things cold. But about 13 months after purchasing and 10 months plugged in after a 3 month kitchen remodel, I am back to making ice cubes like my grandma made. Yay for ice cube trays! But since the warranty expired, I will probably have to wait until after the holidays before I can afford to have someone out to figure out why my ice dispensor leaks like a sieve. I'm keeping my fingers crossed my other appliances haven't heard about the manufacturer warranty expiring.

      DON'T BUY LG! HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE
      Stay away from LG! If it breaks, and mine did, good luck in getting it serviced. Mine broke and I first notified of On October 11. Today is November 17 and it's still broken without anyone even being out to work on it. Their warranty has proven useless since they won't honor it. Lg will answer calls and return customer service emails but they won't send someone to fix it. It was bought 15 minutes from my home but they say that No one will come to my area to fix it. On top of this, hardly anyone else will work on their products even if they would come to.my house. Buyer beware!

          Love this frig!
          I bought this 3 yrs ago moving into a new built house. The only surprise was smaller ice cubes. I could use the dual ice maker as my family (mainly grand kids) goes through a lot of ice. Over all I have no complaints, has enough room to fit food I get and like the door alarm when I don't close it all the way. Hope to take this frig with me moving into another new built home next year.

            Poor product
            I bought this is aug 2016 and nov 2019 freezer and ice maker stopped working. This is horrible to spend this much money on a product and the company knows there is a problem. I will never buy another LG product and I have a house full of them. You should not spend over $1000 and three years later need to buy a new one. Craziness!!!! Not at all happy! They know there is a problem with the linear compressor they should fix it for nothing!

              LG less than 5 years old-compressor out
              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my LG French Door stainless steel fridge 11/11/15, compressor went out 9/20/19. Told that it is a sealed part and if unseal it and fix it, it will have more issues in a few years. Ordered a new non LG product.

                Great Refrigerator !

                  Bad experience
                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was talking in the chat with someone, when I ask to replace my compressor she or him hang done the chat , lg don’t sent anyone to fix the refrigerator, it was just 5 year old, after this experience I don’t reccomende to anybody this company.

                    Will no longer purchase LG appliances of any kind
                    We enjoyed the look and hopeful function of LG appliances, purchasing the LFX25975ST2F00 refrigerator, a microwave and washer and dryer. The microwave just decided to stop working after 3 years, the washer lasted 5 years, the dryer 7 years, but the refrigerator was the most fun to deal with. After replacing the filter as instructed, the water pressure in the in-door dispenser slowed to a trickle. The repairman, after charging a large fee, told us that LG no longer made the little part needed to repair it--he said they wear out quickly and break. So we lived with that. Now after replacing the filter again, the ice maker--the same one on which the lever broke and had to be repaired with duct tape a couple of years ago--has now stopped working completely. I've performed all the tests to repair. Just. Doesn't. Work. If certified repairmen cannot repair the appliance just a few years after purchase--because parts are no longer being made, that should tell you something about a company's ethic and customer service. I did not pay thousands of dollars for these appliances, to be unable to fix the cheaply made parts when they fail.   Bad business decisions has lost them a fairly loyal customer. Products look nice, but turn out to be inferior. Do yourself a favor--buy something more reliable with service-able parts that are actually available.

                      Very expensive fridge that didn't last very long
                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this fridge for 1.5 - 2 years. Yesterday it just started pouring water all over the floor from the dispenser. Luckily I can turn off the water to the fridge and luckily I was home at the time. I have unplugged and plugged it back in with no changes. The push button panel has every light on along with the courtesy light and the ice maker rotates the auger about every half hour for no reason. I will NOT be buying another LG fridge and I DO NOT reccomend them to anyone.

                        Did not last 3 years
                        I bought this refrigerator 3 years ago. Chose LG because they are the top-quality consumer line and I have had good experiences to date with LG (I have oven, washer, dryer, microwave). Anyway, got this thing, it worked great, loved it, then about 2.8 years in, it quit getting cold. Not gradually, just one day, kaput. I know there is a warranty (somewhat), but a multi-thousand dollar refrigerator has no business going out under 3 years. The warranty is 1-year, parts & labor, 7 year just parts. That is in my humble opinion pretty skimpy for a top-shelf appliance. I don't know exactly what is wrong, could be one of a handful of things, but to deal with this is going to be substantial hassle and an unknown amount of extra money. Most likely I'm going to dump this for chump change, and get something else brand-new and delivered. I buy multi-thousand dollar refrigerators so I don't have to deal with hassle and extra money after only 3 years.

                          Good honest customer service
                          I bought my lg refrigerator in 2014 and the compressor went out. Well after calling lg and explaining my problem they gave me some companies to call and and in a day I was called. The company came out to determine the problem and ordered my parts it will be repaired tomorrow so far smooth transaction.thanks lg for a trouble free

                              Ice maker stopped working. went out of town for 4 days. came back, worked for a few days and stopped again.

                                Unit did not last.
                                Purchased this model in 12/2013, as of 4/2019 the unit no longer works. The compressor needs to be replaced, which is covered by LG but the service and labor are not. They only cover service up to 5 years, and I’ve had my unit for 4 months too long. Cost to repair would be almost equal to a new refrigerator. LG customer service was rude and unhelpful. When I stated that an expensive refrigerator should last longer than 5 years, I got the reasons “Well that’s life.” We will not be purchasing any other LG products as they do not last and they clearly lack customer service.

                                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in Nov. but as I was remodeling my kitchen it was not installed until mid Dec. So far I love it! Works like I wanted. Would give 5 stars except I think freezer drawer should pull out a little bit more. I am still trying to figure out if there is a way to adjust it.

                                        Ice/water service doesn’t work.

This LG has a ton of great features and I would recommend it highly to anyone looking to purchase a new refridgerator.

                                            Nice Refrigerator

Dual ice maker is why we bought this model and comes in quite handy when entertaining. Ice in door bin sticks together sometimes and has to be broke up. Wish it was a little bit quieter, a little noisy at times. Other then that it's a great product.

                                                Issues with water and ice
                                                I have in issue with this model, the light inside stays on and that indicates the the door is open and will not allow the water to flow into the ice maker or the despinser

                                                  This product works fine as functionally cooling , ice making, etc. However, it emits an intermittent very loud popping or banging sound. The noise is so loud it wakes me up at night. It started about 3 months ago. I have had a service technician here but the noise did not occur during his visit. I have recorded the noise but apparently recordings don't count. I am trying to start the process to get the unit replaced.

                                                    Ice tastes and smells awful
                                                    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I clean the ice bin in baking soda and water and have boxes in the fridge and freezer but after two or three weeks the ice smells and tastes bad again. Anyone have this problem or any suggestions? We use alot of ice so it doesn't sit for long in the bin.

                                                          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in July 2018 to replace a different brand lemon. I did a lot of research and decided on this LG refrigerator. I love the space, lighting and the large water dispenser area. I drink a lot of water and use a huge amount of ice daily and this refrigerator keeps up with my needs. The extra slide out drawer in both the refrigerator portion and the freezer section allow great organization and to be able to easily view items. I actually downsized from a 27 cu ft refrigerator to this 24.7 and the LG actually seems larger because of the smart interior design and in-door ice maker. The only feature I wish it had was a hands free measured fill capability. The refrigerator is a high quality, beautiful style, extremely quiet and very spacious. It's easy to clean and is simply beautiful in my kitchen. I plan to buy all LG appliances in the future.

                                                            I love the size of the ice maker in the door.
                                                            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had it for two weeks and I really like the size of the ice maker in the door, it doesn't take up extra shelf space. And I also like the french door, that you don't have to open up both sides, unless you want to access the meat drawer.
