After spending 2 hrs. on an LG online Chat, I was told that the unit will only produce one glass of "cold" water every 4 hours. My unit is one week old, and after 24 hours, will chill the first 8oz glass to 55deg. the second to 65 deg and the third 8oz. glass to 70 deg: the temp. of the inlet water. I was told by LG that this "seemed normal". Would not have purchased this unit if I had known it was not as advertised.

Very nice fridge
We remodeled our kitchen with all new LG appliances. This refrigerator replaced an old Apartment style refrigerator that came with the house. Unfortunately our kitchen it’s very wide so we have very limited space to put a modern refrigerator. Overall we love the fridge and for some it might be small due to being counter depth but for us coming from what we had this thing is huge. No major issues to complain about so far other than the ice maker freezes up every few weeks not allowing it to dispense ice. I have noticed that this only happens if it is not used for a prolonged time. Other than that...it cleans really well.

Worked out perfectly, 4.5 stars
We purchased this counter depth model for a remodel, got it on sale so while more expensive than many regular size refig. it is well worth it & we're very happy with it. For a big family the refrig section would be a little small (we have another refrig in our garage) and the 3 veggie sections make it seem smaller. Freezer has plenty of room, love the deli tray, ice/water amazing and much improved over our first LG. Would buy again for sure.

NEVER buy an LG Refrigerator!
This was a beautiful refrigerator in the store and I like the way the shelves and drawers are organized BUT it is extremely unreliable and I have lost hundreds of dollars of frozen food the last THREE times our freezer died. There is only one authorized repair agent and they schedule their calls one week out so we are AGAIN without a refrigerator for a week. I will NEVER buy an LG product again.

Roomy and Upfront
I’ve owned this refrigerator for 8 years. While I’ve had some problems recently, the LG repairman fixed everything and I’m expecting to enjoy it for another 10 yrs. The water dispenser is the only one I’ve had that does not leak.

I bought this in 2016 and in 2020 had to have the compressor replaced, and in 2024 had to have the compressor,& evaporator replaced. I expect that in 2028 I will buy a different brand of refrigerator.

Don't Buy!
I purchased this refrigerator purchased in 2017 and it just failed. We had the compressor replaced as part of a recall last year thinking that would solve any future problems, but the compressor failed again. Very disappointed customer. LG has lost our business.

Regrets
Qaulity is not there. Water dispencer is poorly designed. The plastic shelf are weak and crack. The steel skin rusts and discolors. Stay away from LG.

Would not buy another LG Refrigerator
Disappointed. While it functioned it was a great fridge, but it was unreliable and short-lived.
In a span of 7 years we had two of these particular Refrigerator/Freezers fail. Both as a result of the compressor that LG marketed as being good for 20 years. Just this month had to buy a replacement; a different brand this time.

LG Fridge
It has been repaired multiple times and ruined my floors with the flood that it cause. Motor was replaced 2times and the icemaker 2 times plus multiple other issue.
