Relatively easy to install. I would have preferred a hardwired unit that included a carbon monoxide detector, but one was not available at the time.

Easy to install. I replaced 8 out-of-date alarms. We did have a problem with a false alarm in the middle of the night two nights ago-- about 10 days after installation. It went off four times over a 20 minute period and then it was okay. Not sure what caused it but if it happens again I will have to trouble shoot. Question -- why is it a problem only in the middle of the night??

Easy to install quick connect used

I really liked the option of 3 different connectors which make it able to replace several different aged wiring’s in many homes.

Easy installation and communicates with 3-wire smoke detectors. Comes with a 9-Volt battery back-up.

The smoke detector came with an adapter and was easy to install..

Install went smoothly. Feel secure replacing smoke detectors that were long past their due date! 2009 ? People should be aware of how old the detectors are and not just replacing batteries. These new detectors look fresh and white!

I bought two of these to replace outdated smoke detectors. Although they came with different adapters for connecting to 120 volt ac, I still had to hardwire directly to the original wiring. They look great and test alarm works as it should,

They were 2 years from the manufacture date when opened. They were returned for credit.

Simple replacement after 10 years.

Three harnesses make the device compatible with a variety of past wiring solutions and while this is a very reasonable solution, the ability to understand the management of the fitting would be much better if a simple series of cartoons showed how each interface is fitted to what has been there before. I managed the task, but it is not conceptually easy and it is quite problematic to try to easily understand the complexity imposed by the multiple paths of connection given in the packaging.

Love front battery door design easy to install

Easy to install as this decector comes with 3 different connectors to attach the unit to house power. The detector it replaced was from a different manufacturer but the unit came with the right adapter, so no new wiring had to be done! It was plug and play!

Easy to install and use. I like the look and ease of use.
