How can I rate a product like this? Will have to wait until there is a fire in the house or a failure in the furnace system to confirm its function. I bought this because it is a combo smoke and co alarm with a10 year sealed-in battery.

I like the idea of a 10 year battery life.

I guess they’re ok. Musst too expensive. I had to buy 3. I’m annoyed it was almost $175.00

Very expensive and the units do not last 3 or 4 years, they are mandatory by law, what a racket you have saying they are for 10 years, now you are trying to to sell a warranty with the unit, we should go back to simple units with regular batteries, or you should make the unit where it lasts close to full 10 year like it says on the box

They were easy to install. I like the idea you can talk to it as well.

the product is good works excellent

This is actually a Christmas gift, but I have this brand in my house and like it. Fortunately have not actually needed it to work.

It tested fine. Had not used theior locker system yet so waited in customer service line for 25 minutes while they handle a return just to be shown the locker.

I bought two of these for my new house and both failed. A month after purchase, one falsely alerted to CO (confirmed by the fire dept), and the only way to silence it was to permanently disable it. Just this week, my furnace broke and was venting CO into the house, and specifically into the bedroom where the remaining one was installed. It never alarmed, despite the gas company finding dangerous levels of CO in the bedroom. I will never trust Kidde again after these experiences.

Had to return one of five because the tab would not set properly.

So far, so good. Hopefully the battery and alarm gives us the 10 year worry free. Good price for this product.
