I was very disappointed in the cheap looking white plastic...
I was very disappointed in the cheap looking white plastic ring around the overflow outlet otherwise the lavatory looked beautiful. Time will tell if the enamel coating is well done. If not, rust spots will develop around the drain opening and the overflow outlet, which is what had happened to the Kohler enamel-cast iron lavatory that I was replacing.

For a follow up from Lori’s review March 19, installed this sink in 2008 and have the same problem with the rust in the same location, after taking it apart the entire overflow is also rusted out. Not sure this is the quality that Koehler wants to sell. I am now going to replace the sink

Excellent fit and finish. I replaced an identical sink which had shown signs of cracking porcelin and rust. This was a drop-in installation. No problems whatsoever.

Unfortunately I purchased the sink to replace one that had become rusty and had to match it's companion on the counter. The sink I received was slightly off color and the drain hole is not completely seated. I have used a little silicone sealer to close off the tiny gap in the drain hole grommet which should prevent water from hitting the cast iron. I had to use the sink rather than return it as the job needed to be completed quickly.
