This isn't how your drain should be operating. If this drain assembly was installed within the last 6 months, please remove the oring on the basket strainer and use the basket without. Hi Tom, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to learn that your Duostrainer basket is leaking. This is nothing you should expect when you choose a Kohler drain. The o-ring on the bottom of the basket should be holding water in the sink. If the o-ring is damaged, torn or enlarged, the basket may not hold water. Please remove the o-ring from your basket and place the basket/strainer back in the drain body without. This will give the basket/strainer and drain body the proper seal it needs.
