Hi Moesy, thank you for your comments. The water pressure requirement is 30 PSI, same as the old models. The purpose of the flow restrictor on the cold water line is to match the water flow on the hot side. Your hot water dispenser is designed to deliver water at 1 ounce per second/.47 GPM (gallons per minute). An easy way to check the flow rate is to dispenser water into an 8oz mug and use a stopwatch to time how long it takes to fill. If the mug fills in 8-12 seconds, the flow rate is normal. If it takes longer than 12 seconds, you may have a reduced/slow flow. Start by checking the water supply valve, make sure it's fully opened. If you have a filtration system, make sure to replace the cartridge every 6-12 months. You may also check for any kinked or bent tubing.

Hi, I’m glad that you reached out! The Indulge Contemporary faucet handles are meant to be pushed back. If pulled forward, it may dispense water, but will have poor flow or make noise as the valve is not being fully opened. Also, the hot lever automatically shuts off while the Stay-On™ cool lever remains on for easy use.
