I love the size and color but, the front left side was very beat up in shipping. If we noticed before we put it together we would have taken it back. Coming all the way from China I guess we should have expected it. I love being able to pick up items and store and the employes were great. Just the shipping packaging was bad. If the packaging with better them maybe I would recommend this. There are pictures and there are gauges all the way down only showed 2.

We needed a slim bookcase for my daughter's nursery and this is one of the few I could find. It's easy to assemble, and sturdy. My one gripe is that the back board is a slightly different color to the rest of the piece but once the bookcase is dressed with books, toys etc. this is hardly noticeable.

Quality was not as good as I had hoped

Have had it for about a month. Sturdy. I love the smooth finish too! The shelves have a little lip along the edge to keep everything in it's place.

Easy assembly tho holes didn't all line up...seems pretty sturdy.

One of the worst bookcases I've ever had. The back is NOT SOLID. There were no holes where there needed to be (not my first bookcase I've built, I didn't mess up on the instructions). I bought it on the 20th and put it together, or rather tried, today. The sides scuff with ANY contact with ANYTHING. DO NOT buy this. I'm returning it this week for a refund. The top (where the screw is supposed to be secured) completely broke off. The wood is veneer, it isn't legitimate wood. You will be disappointed spending nearly 200 dollars for this.

We own six of these bookcases now and we love them - sturdy, attractive, and perfectly suit our needs.

It was very nice. The finish was exactly what we were looking for.

Slightly smaller than expected but very nice.

My husband said this bookcase was easy to assemble & is well made. Nice chestnut finish. I already had one of the same & wanted another for a bookcase grouping. Despite it's narrow width, it holds a lot on its 5 shelves. Seems nicer than others of the same price. You won't go wrong with this piece!

I was glad to get a more substantial material But there were many cracks and dents upon opening the boxes. I patched two because I really needed them but one - of the three - I. Ordered was totally cracked down one whole. Side. It is also described as 24" but it is 23".

Overall the bookcases are nice and easy to put together. We bought several pcs of the Oxford collection. The bookcase trim does NOT match the other Oxford items. They are flat at the top front, whereas the cabinets and desk are rounded edges. We were planning to put them all together on one wall, but it doesn't look right because of that. Will put them on another wall. Still waiting on the file credenza so not sure if it will match either.

This book shelf was more expensive others but was well worth it. It feels more solid with a nicer finish. It was relatively easy to put together.

All the hardware was just right. Looks nice when assembled.

Arrived with broken parts

I was disappointed in the Oxford bookcase. It did not look like the picture or the instructions. The low panel at the bottom is supposed to be flush with the bottom panel and that is not how the holes lined up. Instead there is a 1 inch space. So the book case does not look like the 2 file cabinets I purchase earlier in the year from the same collection. not impressed.

Easy to put together. Looks more expensive than it is.

The detailing in the wood is nice. Fairly easy to assemble.
