The material is very unforgiving. I mixed an entire bag, grabbed a little bit to spread when I came back it has hardened already. Mix very small amounts at a time and make sure the area you are leveling is super clean.

Not self leveler but great for leveling subfloors in an old house. Mixed up small batch after small batch. Consistent and forgiving product.

Sets up quickly, so be careful not to mix too much too spread. Next time I might consider mixing a “little” more water than the recommended, just so it stays workable for at least 15 minutes.

Sets up to quick and hard to work with.

It's a good product but the price is to high

Worked great to fill a crack in my foundation. It dried quickly.

Great product. Used on plywood sub-flooring. It does begin to set pretty quickly in the bucket. First batch I did with 6:2 cups but went to 4.5:1.5 cups and that amount was perfect. Using the drill mixer is a must. Remixing is best to avoid as it really doesn’t work well at all so reducing amount you make is better. Have a second bucket with clean water for tools, cleanup, etc. Move quickly and don’t worry about low spots, hit them again in a second round. Avoid creating high spots. Make sure area has been well vacuumed before you begin. Clean tools well immediately after each batch.

Adherence to abraded concrete is super. Also, the feather edge works well.

I am using this to level a cement floor prior to installing luxury vinyl flooring. This works great and dries quickly. It can be applied in very thin layers. This is NOT to be used to level wood floors although Henry's does make another product for this purpose.

Sets quickly--in fact, it would be nice if it took a little longer to do so. It would be wise to mix less than you think you need for your first batch and see how it goes. It is good for filling deep areas and then finishing off with Feather Finish, which is easier to get smooth. 547 is significantly less expensive than 549, and is hard as rock once it cures. I found I needed a beater-style mixing paddle, as the spiral type that I use to mix paint left lumps. While I could mix 549 by hand, I really needed a drill-mounted paddle for 547.
