Good product, it sets up pretty fast and works well as underlayment for my vinyl tile project. I was making up to 1/8" adjustments to prepare a wooden floor.

Did exactly what I wanted it to do. Dried quickly.

Works great for small areas use a self leveler for bigger areas

Once cured, it was solid as a rock

Makes a smooth patch for filling low spots before laying my LVP. Be sure to work quickly this stuff sets in about 10 minutes!

The product was excellent, I thought it was very expensive for 25 pounds though

works as intended. The trick is to mix small batch's. Works the same as ardex.

the 547 worked well for what I needed it for. I had to patch and level a small area on a OSB floor. It is not a self leveler so be prepared to work with it to get it how you want it. Overall, great product.

This is an excellent product to spot level your subfloor. It works better than the pre-mixed compound, because you can really feather it in whereas the pre-mixed compound lumps slightly more. This product is also cheaper than the pre-mixed version which I originally ran out of and bought this. I would highly recommend this product as any floor leveler even the more expensive self leveling underlayment which I tried and was a disaster.

Product works as designed, however, it was installed on a OSB subfloor. Wood subfloors absorb moisture from the patch material faster than concrete subfloors. This material did not dry within 2 hours as labeled ," up to 1/2" thick." As it dried the material shrunk height wise, and had to be recoated. We used a blower to speed up the curing process, but it was well over 5 hours to cure inside a house with the heat set at 70 degrees.

I mixed small batches by hand with a serving spoon in a mixing bowl. Used the spoon to transfer the mixture to the floor. Spread with trowel or screed. Sets up pretty fast. I like to mix it a little thinner than recommended - like 2.3 - 2.4 cup powder to 1 cup water. It seems to set up slower that way. Grind high spots with a cup wheel on an angle grinder (I use a Ridgid 12-gallon vacuum with a TOC Ultra vacuum adapter) or 80 grit paper for small areas and corners. N95 mask and hearing protection. I masked up while mixing. Makes a nice feather edge with careful sanding I tried using Henry 546 diluted 30% with water, but I didn't see much advantage over just water. I didn't like using straight Henry 546 because my tools were hard to clean afterward. Straight Henry 546 may produce a harder product.

This is the best skim coat and patching compound I've encountered. It's worked much better than competing brands to remedy low areas on my concrete slab (and to fix minor imperfections), in preparation for floating-floor installation. The only downside for the DYI amateur like myself: it sets up very quickly, so I mix small batches and use ice-water to slow it down a bit. Excellent results.

hardens in the bucket before you get in on the floor and if get on the floor before it it hardens ,the only reason I buy it is because the price was good but I learned my lesson. good big or go home
