Handsome fan. Reasonably easy to install. No problems so far. Good value. After I purchased this fan, Home Depot reduced the price of this fan. When I brought this to their attention, they refunded the difference based on their 90 day price guarantee. The woman who helped me with this was very pleasant and helpful!

I bought 4 of these fans for my previous home. We just moved to a different home and I bought 6 fans for the new house. They are all installed and everyone is not in balance and can't run them higher than the low speed without them shaking back and forth. . I will need balance kits and see if I can get this corrected. The 4 I previously bought for the old house never needed any balancing. I wonder if a different source was used to manufacture these fans. I installed the fans myself in both houses so it was not the installer. I love the look of the fans, but wish I didn't have a balance problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought 3 of these. They look great and produce good airflow. Despite other install complaints that I read, I found them easy to assemble and install especially considering I had never assembled a fan before. They do tend to shake a little, the one in my bedroom makes a slight tick which will drive me insane if I don't fix it. I still recommend these fans though.

This fan was the most difficult of the Hampton Bay fans that we purchased. It always seemed slower than the others, but thought nothing of it until recently when it became hotter. We usually kept it on the medium setting, but noticed when we tried the HI setting it was now slower than it has previously been. We called the manufacturer ( Home depot) and was initially met with a very rude customer service personnel who decided to blame us for not noticing or reporting the problem earlier. When she was questioned about her behavior, she hung up the phone. We called back and spoke to another person who recommended a product that controls the speed. We were charged for the part which did not work when we installed it and are not able to get a full refund even if we tried. So now we are stuck with a $150 fan that doesn't work properly. I believe that either the motor that is faulty or it's just not a good product.

I have 2 of these fans in my home. One in my bedroom and the other in my living room. I love the style and look. More importantly they are very quietly. The fans also give a nice breeze even at the low speed.

My electrician installed it without an issue. The fan looks great. The simple design and 3 blades gives the room an updated look. It can be installed as a hugger fan. We did it without the down rod and it works well.

The fans were easy to install, look great and run well. The remote control is a great feature. They make a nice addition to our office area.

The fan works great. The light is a little dim for having 2 bulbs it, but it's a nice, amber glow. It was fairly easy to install, but the directions leave a bit to be desired. They're very difficult to interpret, but take your time, and look at the parts before screwing anything together.

First fan I ever installed myself, was fairly easy and the fan looks awesome. Definitely recommend

A conveniently included remote controls its 3 speeds and reverse function. This is wrong! it does not control the reverse function. I purchased this fan for its looks and remote control reverse function. I have a 12 ft ceiling.

The fan is modern in appearance, quiet and produces more air flow than the one it replaced. Because the instructions are not clear where the remote receiver fits in the assembly, the installation was somewhat challenging. I highly recommend the unit.

Fan was easy to assemble and worked as described. We installed it on a flat ceiling and it runs very smooth and without wobble without adding the supplied shims. The instructions do not describe where the signal module installs, but it rests inside the fan bracing within the ceiling cup.

This fan is a piece of junk. I stripped two, maybe three fan blade holes trying to tighten fan blades to housing. Have also called the 800 number because of faulty part in stud/down rod. They claim to be mailing individual pieces that comprise the stud sometime next week.

Installed the fan in the master bedroom. Install was about normal for a ceiling fan. Looks amazing. No wobble whatsoever. Very elegant look especially on low when you can see that it only has 3 blades spinning. Love the contemporary look. The remote comes in very handy.

Everything good execpt: Will balance well, but not purfect; top could use more space to locate the wireless receiver.

Similar fans can be much more expensive. The three blade fan is higher for some reason. Installation was fairly straightforward. note this fan must use a downrod. I had hoped to install flush but 6" downrod was ok.

We are very pleased with this fan. We really like the three different speeds, although it stays on slow most of the time. The glass globe has a very pronounced yellow cast to it. We like the warm glow it gives the room, but some may not like it.

I had the fan installed by my handy man. He seemed to have some difficulty with installing the remote relay but finally succeeded. He had trouble balancing the fan and spent some time on it but it still wobbles. It is very quiet but I'm not crazy about the light fixture once it was up and turned on. All in all it was worth the money.

This is a great looking fan that creates great airflow and has a modern-yet-timeless look. This fan has the look/feel of a much more expensive piece. Everything you read here about the tricky receiver install is true. It may take a couple of attempts, but if you have patience and leave some extra time you'll figure it out. I suppose an easier option would be to wire the receiver INSIDE the junction box ABOVE the plane of the mounting bracket if you have room there (I didn't) but it will eventually fit when slid above the drop pin. Another great feature of this product is how super quiet it is. My wife was looking forward to the 'white noise' from the fan to drown out the New York City traffic outside our home at night, and I actually had to buy one of those 'LectricFan machines to make artificial fan sounds because this one made zero noise.

I just bought a home - the ceiling fans were old and not very efficient. I first replaced my bedroom fan with this fan. It was so fantastic - I bought two others. The fan is quite - I love the remote and lack of chains hanging from the fan. It more than adequately cools the room at low or medium setting - I rarely need to use the high setting. Great price - love the three blade design! I would highly recommend this fan to everyone! You can't go wrong with this purchase!

In the past I always bought cheap costing fans under $40.00. But I was having trouble in one of my smaller rooms staying cool. I did some research and realized I needed a fan that had a higher blade pitch and the number of blades did't matter. This fan from a performance standpoint met my objective. Yes it was over $150+, but I am finding the quality and the performance is far worth the price compared to the low costing traditional fan I was using. After a month, I am even running the fan at a low speed, as the blade pitch is enough to still push the air very adequately. So I am actually using less electricity. On the downside, this fan is LED compatible, and I am not getting the adequate lighting using LED lightbulbs. Overall if you are looking for a fan to help in a smaller space and not concerned about price, this is a great option.

The fan is easy to use and looks great. The remote control appears to be an afterthought in terms of installation within the fan housing and the appearance of the remote device. I glued magnets to the remote so that I could keep it on the refrigerator as this fan is installed in my kitchen.

We had purchased one of these over a year ago for our bedroom and it still works and looks great! So of course we bought another for another room! My husband installed the previous one and he had a bit of a hard time getting the bit for the remote installed. It was his first time with this kind of installation. We do love the remote feature! I probably won't get a fan (with light) without this feature again. I do wish the blades came in a cherry wood color, but we went for the dark side. The brushed nickle goes with our other house accents.

Great looking fan, Fixtures are an important part of a home. For a fan it wasn't too hard to install. the receiver was a bit challenging. light bulbs could be a little brighter(thats a personal preference though)

The Fan looks awesome, installation....well, the only issue that I had was hiding the remote control RECEIVER, there is NO room into the fan housing to hide the receiver; you have to be created. Once installed, the fan is awesome, and worth it!

Overall it's great - just as listed. Only down side is that's it's not a dimmer nor is it very bright as the light cover is tinted.

I agree with the the review as to easy installation. It took less than 30 minutes. For the price amazing quality and power this fan has. Great buy!!!
