The cart is nice. It would be better if it were heavier. It’s difficult to wind up the hose when the cart is moving all around. Also the hose stub that came with it to connect to the hose bib split after the first use

I looked at many options for this purchase. This one was the best for the money and has held up very well. The key is to use a really good quality connector hose that is flexible at the reel hook up. It make a huge difference when using heavy duty hose that is stiff. Would buy again but that will be a while as this one should last. Tired of the plastic ones breaking every season.

Excellent hose cart easy to use and operate

The reel was easy to assemble and directions were good.

Instructions are clear with pictures for each step. Only one tool needed for assembly of a sturdy piece of equipment! When we get a good warm spell, the hose will be installed. Then it will be ready for use in the Spring!

I ordered this item new, I thought. It came in a box that had already been opened, and some of the parts had already been assembled. A little disappointing to get an open box item when I thought I ordered new. Otherwise, it is a nice hose cart, easy to assemble (what was left to assemble that is).

Only problem is that after winding up hose it unwinds a few feet. Put a wire on rail and handle to lock handle in place

Easy assembly, works good.

Overall, easy to assemble, however some of the connections for water were completely blocked by apparently the caulk to prevent leaking. Yep, it might prevent leaking but might also prevent water getting into the hose. A little more care needs to be administered by whoever creates and packs the cart.

Hose Reel Made In China. Distributed by Hampton Bay. Purchased at Home Depot. Purchased online. Home Depot website says solid wheels; one I received has pneumatic wheels. Past experiences with Hampton Bay products from Home Depot were good; this fact and solid wheels in the description convinced me to purchase this reel even though price was a bit high. I am disappointed in Hampton Bay with this purchase. The product came partially assembled and well packaged. All listed pieces in paper instructions were in box; no Flat washers or lock washers listed or provided for this item - so I rounded up some because this reel will be wobbly without them. Overall, metal is light-weight, powder coating on metal is thin, poor quality pneumatic tires, and it is really not worth half the price paid at $99. I have other hose reels, purchased elsewhere, that came assembled, that are of higher quality and have lasted at least 5-6 years. This one, not likely to last that long. Will not purchase another.

Does not stay put when rolling up hoses It don’t make it any easier for sure . If you don’t in roll it all the way you have no water pressure . Waisted $$$ for me

Only recommendation is adding a brake. Overall it’s a great unit.
