Don't waste your time or money
I tried to run some lines at a lake property with this stuff. After multiple attempts to find and fix leaks I'm still leaking. The design is awful. It seems like you would have to get lucky to not have a leak. It's such a tenuous connection that I'm not sure I would be able to trust it even after passing a pressure test. I'm probably going to toss hundreds of dollars of this stuff in the trash and start with something else. It's also ridiculous that you can't by a bag of replacement washers for a reasonable price.

I bought this fitting because it was the only brand...
I bought this fitting because it was the only brand available. It works fine but I will say it was sensitive. You need to follow directions and make sure there are no burrs that will hamper the unit to seat. You need to tighten well but don't over tighten. you need to find that middle point.

That is true. One must not mix various manufacturer's CSST tubing and parts. It's always recommended consumers do their research prior to purchase.
