I think that a Front Load washer is the greatest!!

I have two other front load washing machines. I wish that the speed wash cycle on this one was shorter than it is. I have a 25 minute speed wash cycle on my other machines. Otherwise it was a smart purchase.

Got the matching dryer first and then purchased the washer. The set is great and so nice for large families. I am able to get through our families wash and it not take forever!!!

I just bought this washer machine with the a lot of expectatives and is not really performing how i though. It does not put enough water to the clothes. it barely wet the clothes

Our old washer broke and we replaced it with this new GE, the controls are very easy to use and it works seamlessly.

I thought it was going to be more efficient than it is. With the settings it seems that it doesn't matter the size of the load it takes the same amount of time to do it, makes no sense. Although it does the job well. Oh, and I hate that not all the models can presoak.

I bought about 3 months ago, haven't had any issues. It cleans my whites very well.

I was looking for a set that was affordable yet efficient. I have been vey pleased with this washer! If you put the cycle on high spin it can get a little loud but nothing terrible. There are only 2 things that I would say are cons for this machine. The first is that the cycles are longer than I expected and I assume that comes from it being high efficiency. I also purchased the dryer with this and the dry time is always around 45 min yet the washer is always over an hour to complete a load. The second is that moisture stays in the drum. If I do not leave the door open after I have completed washing a load of laundry the drum moisture will not evaporate. All in all I like this washer for the price I paid for it and would recommend it to others.

have always used GE, had the washer delivered on a Saturday and it had a loud squeek, the service men came out and said it had a bad bearing, they replaced the complete washer and the new one runs fantastic

Nice volume and features for it's price point. I chose this model over the next step up model that was more expensive and had steam and additional features and 4.3 cu ft of volume. Either way GE was going to be my brand of choice. The extra volume would have been nice to better match the 7.0 cu ft dryer, but overall I am happy with my choice. Nice fit and finish and it seems to clean clothes well, but clothes seem to be a bit "crustier" than my old top loader and old dryer would leave them. Maybe I need to use more fabric softener. Its almost like the softener is getting rinsed out of them before final spin. I'm still getting used to the differences with the machine.

We bought this washer a couple of weeks ago, so far I love it and it does a great job getting my clothes clean.

I have an appliance agreement with American Home Shield and when my washer went bad and was not repairable, they replaced it with your GE1200 and it works great.

Does everything I need it to do. Quiet. Ease of use. Many cycles to choose from - specialty cycles.

This is my third washing machine in about 5 years due to the previous GE washers not lasting.

We bought this machine to replace another stackable washer that last a DOZEN hard-fought years. Very happy with it.

Bought this a few months ago, and I am totally satisfied with it,

It does not get enough water, my clothes come out dry and not washed.

This washer was part of an additional bonus our home builder threw in for us when we purchased a house that was supposed to have been sold to someone else, but their financing fell through at the last minute. We had an older washer and dryer and had almost bought a new set a few months back, but we've been really happy with our first fancy washer and dryer set.

Washer does its job, clothes come out clean and does get rid of stains!

So far, this washer works better than the one it replaced - the old one's door latch kept breaking. After the third break in less than a year, a replacement seemed in order. This one fit the space requirements and, so far, it's been a pleasant surprise. More features and does seem to wash cleaner and yet be gentler on clothes.

The washer is a good size for our needs. It cleans well and does not waste water. I can use a small amount of detergent and still get the clothes clean.
