Vent fan does nothing. Even with the rotating plate on interior the food in the middle is always cold and outside of food crazy hot.

Camr with my mobile home package and I love it cooks great

Stopped working after 20 months. Usage is very light - with 2 adults in the house - both working out of the house 14 hours during the work week. GE Technician charges $99 just to look at it. With parts and labor, we might as well just bite the bullet and buy another brand. Will not buy another GE product. Extremely disappointed in GE.

Great product for the price, great features, looks nice

I purchased this microwave almost 14 months ago and it just stopped heating. I've never had an appliance die so quickly. I doubt this is economically repairable. I'm surprised given the very high ratings for this model.

After 90 days one of the fan speed stopped working

I bought this item and not even one week of buying it new the computer board had to be replaced so its not new.

Have great expectations for this GE Microwave, as we have all GE appliances which work wonderfully for us.

Units bumps and grinds when the table is turning, The oven us vented outside, but leaked a great deal of air into the house

Easily installed in fifteen minutes. GE was recommended by a friend. We are very pleased with the product.

Control panel can not be cleaned properly. Fan has no strength. Door fogs up easily when cooking on stove.

This oven was a great investment. While it was part of the kitchen package of my home purchase, I am very pleased with all the great features it has and highly recommend it to any home buyer.

This is my first GE and I am thrilled about the quality and ease of how it works. I had another top brand but it couldn't compare to this one. Very happy.

The convenience buttons are all but worthless. For example, when you press "vegetable", you have to enter a type 1-3. But it doesn't say what 1-3 are until you select it. If it isn't what you want, you have to cancel and start over. Not even the owner's manual tells you the codes. Then once you figure out what you want, it asks for weight in ounces. If you aren't using an entire package with the weight labeled, you have to guess. Our old microwave would list the options then ask for number of servings. I don't even bother with these buttons anymore and just guess how long I will need and enter a time. This microwave came with our new house and was selected by the builder.

Love the microwave with the exception of the surface light. Not bright enough with 40 watt bulbs. Cannot find 60 watt bulbs to replace

Replaced a different brand that only lasted about 1 1/2 years. The previous GE lasted 8 years. Went back to GE for the quality

This microwave does everything I need it to for a great price

This is a great, powerful microwave. My husband and I installed it ourselves and it was a pretty easy job. We love the look but I have one major complaint - the way the touch pad is laid out is not intuitive. The cook time button that you MUST hit first before punching in the time you want, is buried amidst other buttons. It should be in a stand out spot so you don't have to hunt for it. We've been using this microwave for more than 4 months and I still hit the wrong button at least half the time.

I'm on my second microwave within 3 months. The first one failed after 2 weeks, had it repaired, it broke again 6 weeks later. JUNK! The current microwave has developed a buzzing sound.

Don't like to loud extremely noisy wouldn't have bought if knew

Microwave for my 1BR Mountain Cabin. Great for warm ups, beverages, plates of food. Takes a little longer for cooking from scratch (steak, chicken, lasagna, etc), But it gets the job done.

We purchased a new construction home. We unpacked and wanted to heat up some food... surprise the microwave didn't work. Clock works...lights inside work... but it does not heat up.....

We just installed this microwave and its so sleek amd inside is huge. We gave our old GE microwave to our son. It was 20 years old and still worked perfectly. We bought new one to match the new GE fridge! Thanks for superior quality we have depended on and will continue to depend on!!

This oven was exactly as described. It was a replacement of a more expensive model that had died and all users liked this one better. Was easy to install and had no problems.

We bought this microwave to replace our old over-the-stove microwave. We picked it out because of the name brand and price. We are very happy with it! GE does not disappoint!

Needed to replace a 16 year old unit and based on reviews as well as unit size (H x W), this model fit the bill well for our kitchen. We have all black appliances with shiny finish, and this was a very good match. If you are paying for the install, the following info may not be of interest. For the average DIY'er, you should be fine with the install, but, read those directions first to understand the details. The unit has a fixed metal flange that makes the back wall install fairly straight forward. No need to measure, as the top of the flange with be installed with the tabs touching the bottom of your top cabinets. Also, make sure you have measured for your center line between the cabinets and take advantage of the notched flange to help you ensure it is centered. For the hardware, they provide (2) toggle bolts and (2) wood screws. It assumes you will have studs in the mounting zone to use those 2 wood screws. That was not the case for my install. Only 1 stud was in the proper mounting location. The Top flange has fixed mounting points, which means if no stud there, you will use the 2 toggle bolts. That likely leaves you needing at least 1 one more. I chose to purchase a "toggler" setup which is easier to work with, and only cost a couple of dollars. I purchased 4 pcs , as a just in case. If you are drilling into tile, be prepared with ceramic bits for your starter holes. Overall, no problems with the install. Top holes lined up well, using the provided template. My unit did not have an owner's manual in the box, and not sure why. Thankfully, they provide it on the site, and I was able to review it for clarification on install details. Unit looks good, and no issues with performance out of the box. The unit is quiet, compared to our older micro. Of course, the test of time is next. Hope it provides the service expected for years to come. If any problems or failures down the road, I will update.
