Too much Condensation

Fan didn’t make a year!

Getting ice is a challenge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s small. Fits my space well but I also use the garage frig for drinks and frozen items that won’t fit in the freezer. Sometimes it makes ice sometimes it doesn’t. And when getting ice — the dispenser gets clogged daily.

Trusted Brand!

So, when shopping for one of my own, Frigidare, was my first choice. The only thing is that I wish the freezer section was larger. Otherwise, I love it!

Problem with freezer door popping open
I love the look and capacity of our new counter depth refrigerator. It’s only a few months old. Recently we discovered the freezer door pops open a second or two after we close the refrigerator door. Can’t tell you how many times we’ve found that door slightly ajar and the freezer contents covered in a thin film of ice. It seems like the gasket is not providing adequate suction to keep the door closed. When I open the fridge, I feel pretty good suction. When I open the freezer, there’s no suction at all. Has anyone else had this problem? What’s the cure?

Mixed...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to compliment my other Gallery appliances but this one seem to have an issue producing and dispensing ice. We are often caught by the fact there aren't any ice in the bucket and when it does, either it doesn't dispense or when it does the ice gets stuck in the shooter/dispenser. Very disappointing.... Finally calling Frigidaire support but today they just happen to be having technical difficulties and I got disconnected.

Don't buy this model
Owned less than 2 years and already had the circuit board and icemaker replaced and they are broken again! I am the only person using this and there is no reason for these parts to wear out this way! I am beyond frustrated! Doubt the company will do anything at all considering they made creating this review as difficult to post as humanly possible!

KKie, I am dismayed to hear of your door dilemma. The two compartments in your refrigerator share the same air via a duct between them, and closing the door compresses the air. This compressed air rushes into the other compartment (when closing a door) and can 'pop' the other door open. Please see page six in your Owner’s Manual for instructions for achieving the needed tilt to ensure that doors close and seal properly. Nice appearance.

I am dismayed your refrigerator’s ice maker is not functioning as expected, tiger4print. I wonder if your ice maker may be jamming. Please remove the ice bin to see if there are any ice cubes stuck between the ice maker and the rear of the ice bin, please remove the cubes and put the bin in the proper position. Ice must be used on a regular basis to help move the ice forward in the bucket. Shake the ice bin once a week or so to ensure the ice is not sticking together. It’s simply okay

JUST BOUGHT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this refrigerator a few weeks ago and it fits perfectly as I have a small kitchen and limited with height and width. This is a quiet refrigerator and has more than enough room. I did about 4 weeks worth of research on every make and model and finally choose this, the $ spent was not a factor, more about confident in mfg and quality of product. I have another refrigerator that is 15 years and works great, in the garage as a back up to hook up to generator in case power outage.
