Less than one star. Nothing but problems
We purchased this Frigidaire Refrigerator as it seemed like a good value for the money, and we were horribly wrong. 30 days after it was delivered, we needed to get the compressor replaced. Since then, we've had service techs out to "fix" it more than 15 times (in just over one year!). New compressor, new door seal, new defrost whatever...bla bla bla. We needed to purchase a free standing freezer to use, as the freezer stays about 22 degrees (not zero, like it is programmed), and we were tired of throwing away food. Currently, the freezer says it's at 18, but according to two separate thermometers, it's actually at 25. I It's noisy, the ice maker doesn't work (after getting it replaced last week), and neither the fridge or freezer are at the temps it says they are. The drawers are cheap, and the only thing that it does well is dispense water. Electrolux (the parent company) is horrible to work with for warranty issues, and they told me they will never replace this unit, even though they have a "No Lemon" guarantee. I have a guy coming out yet again tomorrow to "fix" this piece of garbage, as it simply won't keep the proper temperature. Beware! Buy any other brand, but not Frigidaire. See pic of the coils on my Frigidaire Gallery Counter Depth Refrigerator all frosted up, as the unit simply won't defrost. Please learn from my mistake and do not buy this refrigerator.     The worse fridge in the World!!!
    Please people don't buy it!!!This is the 3rd Time they are coming to try to fix it. Every time a different problem.Mind bugling stuff.First Time the panel broke 3 months in.Second Time ice box had to be adjusted,Ice didn't come out.This Time it freezes all my food on 36-38f.My cooked white eggs are frozen,my glass jar has ice inside and the pull out drawers where I keep tomatoes and vegetables are frozen mostly.!On top on Frigidaire web site you can't post pictures!!!!On top of it is very noisy,Ice and water spills all over the floor!!Avoid,Avoid,Avoid!

      Good value for the price
      Home Depot had the lowest price on this refrigerator of anyone in the Seattle area. We are satisfied with the looks and operation of the unit except that it runs almost continuously (don't know if that is normal), and our old one ran much less. It is very quiet but the drawers are cheap and hard to pull out. Overall a good value. Too bad they don't make this model without an ice maker/water dispenser because it takes up much of the freezer room. It was a good compromise.

      Good value...so far
      The price was $300 less than the competition. Other reviews told me the storage area in the door was for cans of soda, and they must have fixed the noise issue others mention. Mine is quiet. There is a little learning curve on the ice dispenser if you want a dry kitchen floor, but once mastered it works fine. It looks just right and the counter depth adds visual and real space to my tiny kitchen. So far, so good.

        Wow! Noisy!
        This fridge looks sleek, and fit into a very tight space in our kitchen. It has kept our food cold for about 4 months now. HOWEVER, the noise that comes out of this appliance every 20 minutes (for only about 5 seconds each time) could wake anyone from a dead sleep. We don't have the water dispenser/ice maker turned on, so I don't know what could possibly be making this much noise, but now I see from the other reviews that other people have had the same problem. I never knew it would bother me so much, but 4 months later, I have to write a review about it. :o/

        Fits wonderful
        We purchased the refrigerator after returning the GE Artistry, which is too big. The counter depth fridge fits perfect in our space. The only Con is that it makes a loud noise once in a while. I can live with that because it fits beatifully in my kitchen and has all of the features that we wanted for a good price.

          Very Disappointed
          Having had good luck in the past with Frigidaire I purchased this one. Hate, hate, hate it! Food freezes in fridge side, back & top drawer despite raising temp to 38. Freezer shelves & drawers are junk & breaking. Never had problems like this with any fridge. Will never buy another frigidaire. Quality not what it was...sucks! Buy something else.

            All around terrible.
            I swear my Frigidaire gallery came from the rejection line. I’ve already replaced all shelves and vegetable bins within the first two years and they are not cheap. The refrigerator looks great on the outside until you open it. The material is low grade and I’m now noticing several cracks in the interior. Theres also some rusting as well. I do not recommend this appliance and I will never buy another Frigidaire product.

              Absolutely horrible very upset
              My husband purchased this refrigerator for me about a year ago. Refrigerators are not cheap and apparently these have a major problem with the ice machine. The motor keeps freezing up creating this horrible humming noise. I would like to hear back from someone at Frigidaire. It appears this is a manufacturers defect. I have read the reviews and a refrigerator and this frog has some major issues. A refrigerator should last a lot longer than a year or two.

                As others have reported this refrigerator leaks and nothing appears to solve the issue. My beautiful pine floors have been ruined by the leaking. I will be replacing it as soon as I possibly can to avoid further damage.

                  Freezer leaks and it is damaging the floor
                  Ice forms on the floor of the freezer, and then water leaks out of the freezer. This leak damaged the cabinets in the the counter next to the fridge. I do not recommend this refrigerator.

                    horrible horrible thing
                    one of the worst purchases ever, had issues within the first year and now four years out had to replace a part that broke (the part the cools the fridge from the freezer), and now the doors don't stay closed. The display screen has had issues from early on, it's hit or miss on if the ice maker churns out ice. In fact, with the exception of my stove, every appliance in my kitchen has been really bad, i will never, ever buy Frigidaire again and recommend everyone steer clear of their horrid products.

                      Ice Maker tray is HORRIBLE, metal pieces RUSTING!

It makes Ice fine, but there's 2 metal parts that are in the ice bin that RUST, so all the ice gets rust in it! It was one that was made in Mexico, and I think it went downhill once that started happening. If we cant get this fixed, we won't ever buy a Frigidaire again, and I'll make sure that everyone in my extended family doesn't ever buy one......

                        Worst refrigerator ever
                        This is the worst refrigerator I have ever paid for. That’s probably why it’s discontinued. The thing that makes this the worst refrigerator ever is the ice machine/water dispenser. Anytime you go to get water and you deep press the button to activate the water the water keeps spraying for half a second after you move the cup. Then when you go to get ice, sometimes the ice gets stuck in the dispenser causing a backup. I often have to manually restart the ice machine because it gets stuck halfway through and stops making ice. if you bare tap the dispense button sometimes I’ve will shoot out and the dispenser stays open after you’ve depressed the it Tom causing ice to fall out and onto the ground. Very poorly designed piece of waste a space.

                          Ice Maker Overfills
                          Almost 3 years old and its leaking water from Ice Maker. Relaced Icemaker and Water Valve still water dripping into the bottom freezing up. Its not the back drain. Water is leaking from icemaker tray and running outside the panel that covers coil and were the drain is located.

                            Do not buy! Junk
                            I have had several issues with this unit, included but not limited to: broken/loose seals and gaskets around the door. Hairline cracks throughout the interior of the unit. The ice machine! The ice machine get jammed. One time it got jammed to the point the metal ring continued to grind the ice and we had metal shards in our ice. Now at year 4 of having it the compressor went out so its not cooling. Again, stay away. This has been such a burden to my family, with a family with 4 kids you need a reliable fridge and this is not it. Our kitchen is the staple room in our home, when guests come over its embarrassing when they go to open the freezer and food comes flying out because we had to take the shelves out because they are flimsy. It has been an inside joke now when people come over. Save yourself the service and technician/repair fees. Within the 1 year warranty we had to call Frigidiare 5 times!!!

                              Do not buy a Frigidaire gallery refrigerator
                              My Frigidaire gallery refrigerator is the most unreliable appliance I have ever purchased. This is the third time I've needed the evaporator fan replaced. THREE TIMES I've lost all the foodin the refrigerator. I strongly recommend no one purchase a Frigidaire product based on this unreliable performance. It is disgraceful that you pay top dollar for a product and you can't rely on it. I thought Frigidaire stood for quality. sadly I was mistaken.

                                Bought it 4years ago water leaks from ice maker and forms ice all inside the freezer

                                  We recently noticed water collecting on the floor near the refrigerator/freezer. Then we found about a gallon of ice on the bottom of the freezer. It took an hour to melt and break up the ice, and then I took apart the freezer. The drain from the pan that collected water from the de-icer was blocked, and because of this, the water was overflowing into the bottom of the freezer, and re-freezing. I was unable to unplug the drain, so I just put it all back together, and will just live with it, periodically getting rid of any ice on the bottom of the freezer. I saw one other review mentioning the same problem. Is there any way to unplug the drain?

                                    I bough this four years ago, but recently the temperature of the freezer starts to rise for no reason, and if I do a defrost witch is hold the up and down button of the frig side for 5 seconds, after a while things go back to normal for a few hours, any hint of the cause?

                                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our counter-depth Frigidaire for four years, and I’m very happy with it. We replaced a behemoth side-by-side and lost inside capacity - yet I seem to be able to fit more into this one. I’m chalking it up to the glass shelves and shallower depth, which means food doesn’t get “lost” in the back. My only complaint is the ice dispenser - we had it replaced early on because it dripped. Now it’s fine, though ice can come out fast and furious and a few times has jammed. But it’s an easy fix and a small inconvenience for a refrigerator that has otherwise served us well.

                                        Current problem
                                        All of a sudden the freezer is starting to ice up. Of course our 3 year protection plan just ended. Had a repairman out to check it and so far he's come up with no reason. Very disappointed in it right now. The front panel board was replaced while it was still under warranty so that was a good thing. But now this. Not real happy and can find no answer as of yet.

                                          Ice Layers in the bottom of Freezer
                                          we purchased our house almost 7 years ago, it was a "flip" and the appliances came with the house, unfortunately not sure where the appliances were stored or purchased from, but over the last year now, we have been dealing with the freeze up at the bottom of the inside of our freezer making the water then eventually drip out onto the hardwood floors and causing some water damage. We have ripped the freezer apart, we have poured Boiling water into the drain hole and still after just doing this on Sunday we already have ice on the bottom of the freezer and its only Wednesday! Not sure what other options we have. But i wouldnt recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

It has always been on the noisy side. Ice maker seems to jam at the dispenser quite often, but now it sounds possessed. Thankfully bought the extended warranty. Why must consumers have to buy extended warranty on all appliances these days? Life span of major appliances these days is tragic.

                                                Breaking after 3.5 years
                                                At first this thing's was perfect. Then the lights on the panel started going out 2 years in and we had to keep resetting the ice maker because it would run out of ice. Now (3.5) years in and the ice maker won't stop making ice and we have to manually turn it off so it won't overflow. Lights are still broken. Pretty disappointed that we are considering getting a new fridge not even 4 years after our purchase.

Water dispenser is ridiculously slow even with a new filter. The ice maker works intermittently. The drawers have no rollers so they do not open/close very good at all. It does look good and holds temperature well. I would not recommend this refrigerator.
