Had a week and already several scratches. No kids...
Had a week and already several scratches. No kids in the house either so can blame them. All general use.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience. Light scratches are normal for stainless steel sinks; over time they will blend into the uniform finish pattern. Hard water stains, water does not completely drain
DO NOT BUY the Crosstown by Elkay if you have hard water. Used several days. Small puddles of water dry out leaving behind puddle shaped splotches all over the sink. Because it is an undermount sink, it can not be removed to return because the countertop is glued in place. Huge mistake, very bummed. I loved my old Elkay, and bought this to replace it. Is there a better quality Elkay product that does not have this problem? I have 2 more kitchen sinks to buy.

Good but steep price for 18gauge
Easy to put together and overall good quality.
The reasons I didn’t give it 5-stars:
- steep price, for the sink only, without any accessories. Kraus is a bit cheaper, great quality and comes with all accessories
- 18gauge steel as compared to most other brands which make 16gauge (lower gauge = better steel)
- not so sound dampening
Tbh we had to buy a sink on the spot and couldn’t wait for a week or so for the other ones to ship, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have got this one.

2nd kitchen remodel I purchased this sink for - I like the large single basin for handling cookie sheets, cooktop grates, large pots and pans, etc. I also like the offset drain which gives more useable space in the cabinet. It takes a bit more effort to rinse out the bubbles after use, compared to smaller double basin sinks with better slope, but it’s worth it to me.

I have had the sink for a week and everytime...
I have had the sink for a week and everytime you turn on the water (washing dishes or even washing your hands) it gets water stains and you have to take a something to clean iout all the water stains. We left a fork in the sink overnight and the sink created a rust spot already. Very disappointed.

We bought this as our old one was fiber glass...
We bought this as our old one was fiber glass and had a hole in the corner. This looks so amazing! My husband was able to install it and adjust the garbage disposal to fit perfectly! I’m super happy with this sink.

I was looking for a dual sink which I am accustomed to using but I couldn't find one the size that I needed. A Home Depot representative recommended this sink. She mentioned that she received raved reviews from her family and friends. I was skeptical, but I must admit the representative was correct. It gives the sink such a sleek look and now I'm receiving rave reviews. Love the sink.
