Great refrigerator. Even cooling, lots of space, every nook and cranny utilized. Alarm if accidentally left open. Continuous ice. A dream. So glad I picked this over the LG!

I think I've got the Electrolux curse. I've had two new refrigerators and they have both been defective.

Pros: reasonably good quality. looks great. works well. convenient features. Cons: installers did not level unit per mfg recommendations. upon closer examination, discovered that a bottom plate that the 2 rea wheels are mounted to is bent slightly causing misalignment. Bent plate appears to have been done at the factory so I fault Electrolux quality for this esacpe.

I love the refrigerator portion, but we had some trouble with the freezer drawer.  We actually had 3 different repair technicians out to fix it.  The drawer doesn't slide well unless you are holding the middle of the handle of the freezer.  With four hungry kids, I'm hoping it holds up but am concerned.

I recently built a new home and purchased all new appliances for the kitchen. I had originally ordered another brand but changed to the Electrolux becuase of the style, interior design and features. Unfortunately less than two weeks in operation the ice maker broke. Electrolux services sent the incorrect part so there was an additional delay getting the repairs completed. The service repair person indicated that he had at least three calls for the same issue on our model refrigerator. Some times the door mechanical door seal does not operate correctly and catches the doors when closing. I fear this will damage the doors and need to be mindful of this problem each time we open and close the refrigerator doors.

I am extremely happy with my purchase!!! It is extremely convenient the way it is laid out. Many visitors to my home have commented on how GREAT it looks. I am having some difficulty keeping the finish spotless. What do you recommend?

After owning for 6 months, every thing is working as expected.  The door alarm is awesome when a child doesn't get the freezer closed.  I also like the 2 ice makers for the summer...we won't run out of ice.  The second ice maker in the freezer can be shut off during the winter for more storage. Overall we are very pleased with the quality and look of our new refrigerator.

To be honest I'm not sure I like this product at this time. We've only had this fridge for three months and we're unsure if we're going to be happy with the product  because  the first fridge they send us malfunction after three weeks. Oh, and because we had to wait almost a hole month before getting a replacement. 

Overall, we like the refrigerator. However, I would not recommend this particular model for the following reasons: 1. Within the first month of purchase, the bottom ice maker came loose from the refrigerator wall. This was fixed but is a poor design. 2. The freezer drawer does not slide closed well. We have to be very careful when closing, so that the interior basket is not damaged. 3. The top left door's rubber seal has torn. This is due to the fact that this door is, at times, opened and closed on its own. It appears that the left door should always be opened and closed first.  All three of these problems are due to poor design. It would seem that these could easily be improved for future models.

The shelves in the refrigerator are poorly designed.  It is difficult to move them as the door shelves and the refrigerator shelves block each other if the are at the same levels. Some of the door shelves are not moveable so it is difficult to get a shelf large enough for a large item. When I initially got the refrigerator the water dispenser was not working. Both my contractor and I removed the filter and reinstalled itseveral times but it still would not dispense water. The repair man who came out was very rude and said I was not properly installing the filter. ( the filter was not installed when he arrived.) he did take the refrigerator apart and after that the water dispencer worked.  When I asked him to explain how to properly install the filter he said it wasn't his job to deal with filters.this is not my first refrigerator with a filter and if it this one is so difficult to install correctly either there should be detailed instructions or the repair person should be courteous enough to explain what the problem is. The refrigerator is working well now and I have adjusted to the arrangement of the shelves.

I have nothing but great things to say about this fridge. It's a perfect fit in my kitchen. I was worried about the ice maker but it seems like they have fixed this as I'm not seeing any issues. The fridge replaced a side by side so I'm very happy with the French door as I'm able to fit large casserole dishes. The fridge run very quietly and so far a happy camper and extremely happy the purchase and with the quality of this item. Highly recommended. 

I bought this for the counter depth and because I wanted the second ice maker. The video on the website shows the top of the line model and its very hard to tell if the model I ordered had the beveled glass shelves and the cool zone temperature control. Which it did not. It would have been nice to see a video of the actual appliances and the delta between them. The door shelves need to be placed carefully - height wise. When you put a gallon of milk in the door and you have the shelf in the main section in the wrong place.. the items in the door(ie gallon of milk) will hit the shelves. Also...When it arrived the freezer door would not close and seal. Turns out the rail had been damaged in transit(?) But calling support got someone out quickly to get rails for the drawer replaced quickly and very easily. Positives for the Fridge I got- love it... wished it was the same one they show on their website though.

we like the fridge but had major problems with the ice maker in the door. after trying to fix the problem a few times , we had the entire ice maker replaced. this solved the problem. I really did not like having a major problem with a brand new and expensive appliance like this. Also the left side door wont stay open but the right one is fine. Another thing I dont like.

This refrigerator is absolutely not worth the cost. We have owned this Electrolux French door refrigerator for 4 years and the ice maker has never worked properly. The 1st unit we had the icemaker was repaired 4 times & replaced twice. After countless phone calls to Electrolux, they reluctantly admitted that this refrigerator has a defective icemaker. The customer service department at Electrolux is very difficult to deal with, I had to fight with them to get a new refrigerator after the 6 repairs. They claimed that the new refrigerator that we received that the icemaker issue was resolved. This icemaker worked for about 6 months before needing to be repaired and then replaced. I have lost track of how many times this one has been repaired, but it has been at least 8 more times. Save yourself a lot of aggravation, do not buy an Electrolux.

We needed to replace our refrigerator immediately...not much time to shop and our requirement was white, French doors with a bottom freezer. Apparently the world wants stainless these days! However, we locked into the ELECTROLUX...perfect counter depth and seemingly great quality. I did notice, surprisingly, that refrigerators of all brands seem to be absent a butter dish and egg tray/container. Fortunately I was able to rescue those from my "deceased" refrigerator. Really, how much could those items cost as an accessory?

Doors are not straight  and cant be fixed per Sears, fridge scraped  the floor on install and we are still waiting to resolve that. Lights fail from time to time. Water filter freezes and we have to remove to heat up to get water ? 

Beautiful piece of equipment. Ball bearing equipped slides smoothly. 2 flaws in the design: Temperature uniformity is not as good as my old Sub-Zero. Variation of 8 deg F from top sheld to bottom shelf. Secondly the doors close loudly compared to a similar Whirlpool giving the impression of not as sturdy build.

I have had my ice maker on the top fixed twice since April, and sometimes it still takes pushing a couple of times to get the ice to come out on the door.  When it is making the ice sometimes it makes loud clicking sounds for several seconds.

     Purchased new Electrolux  # 1.....   item # EW23 BC701W,  had so many problems with the ice maker the unit was replaced  after  the warranty company cancelled the policy and gave back my purchase price.   Now for the part that  makes me look like the fool of all fools !    I allowed myself to be talked into another Electrolux french door unit with not one but two ice makers in it.  (with the Electrolux assurance that  the new unit was a new and tried unit with no problems !  )   Not true !                                                                                                                                          The new unit  (E123BC35KW)  has an upper ice maker in the refrigerator and a second in the freezer.  The upper unit need repair the first  week and has had several service calls since.    We are now waiting for parts for the lower unit  (also not the first time it has had to be repaired)   so,  now we have two ice makers that still do not work !!!!                 My suggestion.....Look at what others have to say !    Look at the reviews !

I thought I would like the French Door style but after several months I am not really happy with this style. Every time you want to get in the center drawer, you have to open both doors. I would have preferred the center drawer on the outside of the fridge like other models I have seen.

Yes pretty but scaled down version with no temp drawer. Ice maker in freezer not necessary. Freezer seems smaller than other model. There are other better cheaper brands out there. This a replacement for one with ice maker problem

Have had major problems with the ice maker. 2 dif companies and 5 weeks later till they fixed it. It still makes weird noises, from time to time. Very dissappointed with this refrigerator. 

Like the design and the functionality.  Much better than the GE Profile side by side.  This is not the IQ touch though.  It is pressure touch. So far, so good.  Nothing wrong and everything works.

This model was exactly what my wife and I were looking for in a refrigerator. We find that there is ample freezer space in the lower section and plenty of rack flexibility in the upper compartments. We like the various specialty trays, and are sure to enjoy them even more once we get familiar with their functionality. There are more controls on the door "command center" than we are used to, but the manual provides fairly straightforward explanations of how to use them. Best of all, this model is proving to be as energy efficient as the energy use tag said it would be. The only negative is that the component that controls compartment humidity is noticeably noisy (it rattles). The manual tells us that is normal. We would hope that could be silenced in future models.

We love our new counter depth refrigerator. We just replaced a very large GE French Door standard size refrigerator which we had nothing but problems (but that's another review). The Electrolux runs so quietly in comparison to the old one that we barely hear the ice drop. There are two ice dispensers which come in really handy. The one in the door doesn't make a ton of ice and the cubes are very small. The freezer ice maker makes the standard cubes and has a large open drawer it drops into. The refrigerator is huge. We really don't notice a difference in size with the counter depth. We are really happy with the purchase.

Despite paying a pretty penny for our fridge the quality of manufacture is below par. We didn't expect that the lights inside would generate enough heat to blister the ceiling panel. Rather than offering a repair, or product replacement, the manufacturer instead offered a repair kit for $61.00 that essentially consists of two strips of metal foil. This is a manufacturer to avoid! We will never buy another product by Electrolux.

This is an expensive refrigerator and not a quality product for any price. Purchased in June 2013 and it already needs a computer and thermostat. Repair will take 2 weeks. No space for tall itmes or milk.

LOVE this refrigerator.  Just one issue...if there is a power surge/outage,must go to circuit panel and reset power completely in order to re-activate controls on door.  This is very inconvenient.

I bought this 2 years ago and it has broken down 4 times! I love throwing out everything in my freezer twice a year! The ice maker filter needs to be replaced every 6 months at $50 per cartridge or it doesn't make ice. Beautiful aesthetically but very loud and undependable.
