Very good product for breaking large rocks. After 24 hours you can see the rocks splitting . In 48 hours it had 1/2 inch cracks, rock was very easy to remove.

It busted a very hard ROCK ( not concrete) it worked as it should very happy with the results

Drilling the holes is a lot of work, but the stuff works.

Did a great job busting up ledge in my garage addition. Much cheaper than blasting. 1-1/2" holes 1' apart goes quick.

Attempting to fracture a granite boulder 10 by 12 by 6 feet (estimated 50 tons) in order to move via excavator. Drilled to a depth of approximately 20” so only around 20% of depth with 8” to 12 spacings. After two days rather disappointed to see only minimal “flaking” of top. Added more water and returned a week later to find cracking close to full depth and a half ton section fallen off. Now repeating to increase fracturing prior to bringing in machinery. Toughest aspect of the project is drilling the granite.

This product works great! Using it to remove basalt bedrock. Our project is rather large and is having to be done in layers, but it works amazingly well in doing so.

Only real work is drilling the holes. Wish Home depot would carry this product in the store.

Very good product. Split apart a 6'x8'x8' granite rock when used in 6 four foot deep 2"diameter drill holes. Using the #1 product was slower than the number #2 product as the ambient temperature was only 65 degrees. It took 3 days to split. The action would be quicker with higher temperatures.

Not the miracle I was hoping for but I did create some cracking

Dexpan works like a charm, I LOVE THIS STUFF.

You have to get the water to mortar ratio just right, so start with a small batch at first.
