This is one of the best products I've used. I used it on a 10" reinforced wall that stood for 70 years. Saved us days of jack hammering. Highly recommend!

I have used this product in the past to break up good size rocks and boulders in my unfinished basement. As long as you drill the holes deep enough, probably a good six inches, and about 5-6 inches apart (I used a 1" drill bit), the product worked as advertised. I recently purchased another 11 lb. box to finish my project in the basement. My only suggestion is that there should be mixing directions for smaller quantities to accommodate smaller homeowner projects. I had to get my calculator out to determine the proper mixing ratio for smaller quantities.

Cracked a granite rock on the surface only, waste of time and money.

With 1 1/2 holes drilled to proper depth this product works great. Takes a full 24 hours to reach full effect. Easily busted up a huge rock about 4' by 3' and an old concrete lawn roller into many pieces.

Yes , the stuff really works.

Follow instructions exactly and it worked like it said it should. DO NOT drill holes all the way through. Worked great to remove 3 stairs attached to home under sliding glass door in back of house.

Worked to breakup a granite rock footing for an old chimney

It didn’t work for 2 days and gave up. I went there to do something else then it surprised me. I saw the rock had cracked everywhere I had had poured it. Met my expectations but scared me at first.

Worked well. Make hole closer than farther. 8inches max on a real rock.

Great stuff. If you have a rock to get rid of and it is too big to move, this is the stuff to use. I had a rock that was 3'x3'x4'. I rented a rotary hammer from the local hardware store and drilled 1/2" holes about every 10 to 12 inches. Mix up and pour in the Dexpan and wait 24-30 hours. The rock cracked in all directions. I put a metal pry bar in the cracks and twisted it and the rock fell apart. Will definitely use again.

This stuff WORKS!!!! No more hammers, chisels and drills for me to break up concrete and bust up rocks!!! Dexpan is simply amazing!! 5 thumbs up!!!

Pleasantly surprised at how well dexapan worked on limestone in a trench. The stone was a foot deep or more and probably went under my whole yard. Braking it up with a jack hammer wasnt working so I tried Dexapan. It put significant crack in the stone so that the jack hammer could now break off pieces which could be removed. It dries to a dust so so just add some water for a second try. The slurry runs into the cracks you just made and makes them bigger
