All packages were opened as if returned i know why didn't work worse than old one

Worked fine especially with the advice of the associate working in the plumbing area

The Chinese manufactured insert constantly dripped. I reset the Danco insert and was unable to stop the drip. Purchased 2 American Standard inserts for $19.50 each + Fedex shipping cost $55.00. I installed the 2 American Standard inserts Part # 028610-0070A.000 in less than 5 minutes and changed the rotation of the cold water faucet as shown in American Standard website. Not 1 drip seen in 2 days! I called Home Depot Corporate Customer Service and recommended they STOP selling the Danco product. Bottom Line advice: Don’t buy the Danco product from anybody.

I bought 3 of these stem valves. Two of the three leak.

This product used to be a good product, but they have changed the materials/way this part is manufactured and it no longer works. We use for our guestroom sinks, but they no longer work. The materials are so cheap that as soon as you use to repair a leaky faucet, it leaks even more. Danco really need to look into this as it is a known problem with the American Standard brand valve. Thats why we started using the Danco's, but now they look to be manufacturing these valves with the same materials/in the same factory and they no longer work. Do not recommend

They need a way to replace seal. These don’t last a year before they start dripping and need replaced again

Easy to replace the old one was dripping constantly and gotten worse to the point that the water is warm! I probably saved money on electricity due to hot water heater working overtime to keep the water hot.

Easy to use and to switch for hot or cold, just remove the clip and adjust. Great price and quality. I purchased 2 for my bathroom within 1 week. Bless.

stopped sink from dripping

I have had to replace this stem every few months. The routinely begin to leak - drips constantly - after only a few weeks to months at best. I have a whole bag of old ones from Home Depot. The design is poor. I would prefer the stems with a gasket - as at least those you only have to replace the gasket not the entire stem. Hot or cold - they both leak. Stay away from these if you can.

The stop to reverse the stem was not machined properly. I had to use the stop from the old stem
